I've been watching too much scrubs lately. Every time an episode JD's brother shows up I keep thinking he's going to kill someone.

People rightly dis the flashbacks on Arrow, but I remember S1 when the flashbacks are what got me through the show and the dumb Queen Family Drama. And S2 where they were integral to the main storyline.

I wish to hell they'd just have dropped them for S3 though.

I'm so tired of Barry dragging Iris through the dirt. I'm only half way, but if something doesn't happen by the end of it...I'll keep watching anyways.

at this point the last 3 episodes could be duds and i would still consider this season to be one of the best first seasons i've seen ever

Episode was fucking great. Really looking forward to the final 3. Hell, there have been very few episodes this season that haven't been great.

Yeah after watching this amazing episode. I'm not looking forward to Arrow tomorrow. I just know they going to throw a dumb flashback in.

The problem with Arrow is they decided that the Flashbacks to the Island would be a core component to the series and thus be in every single episode...even after they changed their mind that he was on the Island the whole time. So they shoehorn a flash back in every episode, even if it's something dumb like Oliver running through a Hong Kong market with a little kid and nothing really happening.

The Flash only uses flashbacks when it has to, in order to better inform the events of the story it's actually telling within that specific episode.

Haha the chief was so bad. "My god, thats where he works. Please hurry" in the most bland tone of voice possible

It was an odd... I don't even wanna say subplot.. was like two scenes.

Honestly thought he was gonna die in the fire... kind of penalty for Barry's time-traveling protecting Singh from ending up in the hospital.

I'm almost certain Eddie will end up crippled and not have his sanity anymore as a result of the time-traveling, setting him up to be another Reverse Flash.

Haven't seen episode yet, but theory:

Eddie realizes that Wells is his descendent.

To protect Iris, Barry, and the rest of his friends, Eddie shoots himself.

Wells freaks and grabs Eddie and the Speed Force rips both of them apart due to the paradox.

In Season 3, a Shadow Speedster returns.

Eventually, it's revealed that the Speed Force resurrected Eddie, but has turned him into a Reverse Flash/Wraith type being.

It'd be an amazing twist of having Eddie be Barry's Tommy, but only to return as his worst nightmare.

Still hoping for a Red Hood Tommy :/

Flash gives zero fucks just dropping bomb shells left and right. This truly is the best thing on TV right now. Also, I just want to point out how much I love the silly humor of the show:

-Are we talking Inception or Dreamscape?
-Marty with the Poloroid
-Temple of Doom, Khali Ma reference
-Joe bursting into laughter when Cisco mentions his shirt that he thought was lost.

That last one really got me because this is like this serious moment and yet still the mood is light as Joe loses his shit like a normal human at a ridiculous comment. Based God Flash.

you know what, yeah Zoom is my favorite comic book tv villain.

Sorry Slade, you were full of swag but Zoom is just pure menace and Wells is a glorious bastard.

Every single comic television villain gets better development than 99% of comic film villains. I find Slade, Kingpin, Merlyn, Whitehall, Reverse Flash, etc a hell of a lot more interesting than Zod or any villains in the MCU flicks (other than maybe Loki)

He's been like this all season. Any scene with him is basically just the writers really sloppily making him say GUYS, I'M GAY.

He's eating a burger? "My BOYFRIEND wants me to not eat this." It's really laughable.

well yeah, you actually have time to properly build up and develop them on tv

I guess I don't know what kind of other stuff happens in the comics or whatever, but it feels really weird that they're doing all this stuff in the first season. How do they possibly top all this insanity? It'd be weird if the show gets more "grounded" going forward.

(I kind of had the same weird feeling that they were tacking storylines out of order in Arrow.)

I agree, but of course I view Bane from rises a bigger badass then dark knight joker.

Wells is just someone you don't fuck with.

Yeah Wells/Thawne is definitely not someone you want to cross. The whole world should consider itself lucky that he doesn't feel the need to just kill everyone because if he did everyone would be screwed.

So I'm guessing Wells doesn't want Eddie getting married to Iris cause that's not how the future goes.

So who does Eddie marry? D:

That episode was absolutely amazing. Cisco & Wells really sold it.

I really liked Cisco pointing out the differences in the suit in the 2024 newspaper in Well's secret room, sounds like Barry will get a suit upgrade for s2. Plus when Barry was talking to Gideon and she said "A founding member of the..." before being interrupted by Barry, Wow! I wonder which character will say the words first. Oliver, Barry, Ray? I can kind of picture Ray saying it first for some reason.

One thing I didn't like about the ep:

When Cisco relives the moment, Wells is smiling maniacally as he vibrates through his chest. In the original scene, it was a bit of a melancholy moment for him like he actually didn't truly want to do it but he has to.

Dream Wells finds immense joy from the death of others.

Power of the mind. These are blurred memories of how Cisco perceived the event.
