I believe it ends after this year, but Formula 1 itself is not interested in more than one tire manufacturer and Pirelli is interested in returning.

It's exclusive, tyre wars are bollocks. Pirelli were the only serious contender for the contract though after Bridgestone wanted out of the sport.
