Ricky was over a second a lap faster and on a different strategy. He is not just racing the Mercs, the Ferraris et al are still out there too.

Back to being another yawn worthy race.
It helps Ricciardo gain more advantage to defend that position. Vettel is slower and if he slows his teammate down it could put both their positions at risk if someone catches up later on in the race. It's just insurance.
I don't care for team orders much though, so I'm glad we got to see some action instead, even though it looks like Vettel did concede that position in a prideful way.
Rosberg is whole second faster per lap

I would give any race where people are actually on the field and competing at least a 5/10! Anything below that is reserved for stuff where the race is red flagged and Raikkonen is standing around eating ice cream, or those where there are 3 teams racing while everyone else is sitting it out for safety concerns.

Someone need to warn them, that they are not doing this correctly. MacLaren is the only team I like and see them like this is horrible.

it is a bit like with Ferrari. When they build beautiful road cars, the f1 ones suck , and other way around XD. the laferrari is one ugly one i have to say. the p1 is a nice futurecar, but personally the 918 wins my love... so much techporn.

Fucking incompetence happened, everyone and their granny can see the rear end is too fat, they concentrated on gimmicks like the suspension rather than the whole package. THAT is the secret of Red Bull's speed, it was not secret as Newey did it at McLaren, it is the whole efficient package that makes the differece. McLaren have been lost, hopefully they van start to sort themselves out.
Vettel being Vettel.
Several tenths per lap faster. But RBR and Ferrari have the highest fuel usage

I guess I consider 23 formation laps the same as a red flagged race. But it doesn't matter now, the latter half of the race should be much more interesting like the previous races in this season.
He has a lot more fuel than Nico, he just needs a fresh pair of tyres and it's done.

This bothers me. Why is Kimi so far behind Alonso. It's not just this race, it's like this season Kimi stopped being a good driver.
I was really hoping for a good rivalry between them :/

I don't think the driver is the problem. I think is the car. They even bought in new parts for the car this week. So yeah...
I would guess that moving from the excellent Lotus late year to this years Fiat has been hard on him.
Why do people in this thread get the impression that these drivers forget how to drive? Kimi's car hasn't been as good as Fernando's all season.

Alonso and Hamilton are god tier. The fact they have three titles between them while finger boy has four is a crying shame.
