Ouch...you were using the PS2 phats? Daaaaamn. The way the fan blew the heat in those things generally placed it in a path that required it to blow off of an area that handled both your controller 1 slot and your controller 1 memory card. Not many titles would run on PS2 without those.

Well since everyone else is throwing thier PS2 reasons in I'll throw mine in. I have a launch PS2 Phat and the only way for it to run games is for me to stand it up on it's side. It still plays some games, but a lot of them freeze or don't run. I just bought Neo Geo Battle Collsuiem and it doesn't run at all and that's a recent game I bought last week. So yeah I could use a slim, I still actively play PS2 games.

No big deal, but hey I thought I'd throw it out there.
