The "FREE to a good home" Thread

i think people are forgetting that everything is completely free in this thread. if you give stuff of your own, that's your decision. If it was just a thread of give more, get more, someone earlier was right when they just said it'd be the trade thread. plus where would the fun of dib calling go :(

dib calling is far from fun, though.

Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy III
Suikoden II
Xenogears
Star Ocean 2
Chrono Cross
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Valkyrie Profile
Star Ocean 3
Suikoden III
Suikoden V
Tales of the Abyss
SMT Nocturne

I won't name names...but jeez man have some tact (yeah I'm one to be talking :lol).

Was looking through my stuff and found a case for Warcraft III, but no CD. So if anyone needs a CD key for some reason, it's yours.:D

I call dibs on everything that will ever be given in this thread. Thanks for the idea. You can have the Mewto doll though, I have 498 of them already.

MINE MINE MINE!

o shit son. i don't mean anything personally against you NeOak. I'm just tryin to get people to just think positive about the situation. How can anything BAD come from this thread...that's all I'm tryin to say.

And while dib calling sometimes sucks, i've seen a lot of people let the later person have it because they obviously want it for.

so i dunno. i feel like this is turning into an after-school special or something:lol

Don't know if the SRAM batteries work in either of them. I know I tried replacing the one in SimCity a couple years ago but don't know if the joint held.

So, like... SimCity is still available and I'm still waiting for JdFoX187 to PM me his details for SMW.

I truly commend everyone who is giving stuff away.

I can't bear to give away crappy little toys from my childhood, let alone anything game related.

You guys are awesome!

Hahah yeah man, I'm the same exact way. Giving away the stuff I still want, but don't really NEED is a lesson I need to teach myself.

San Andreas pls

It's complete? Cool, is it one of the original prints or something? I'm not enough of a whiz kid to get hot coffee going, I more or less love original prints rather than second runs or revisions.

Damn, a lot of people are swarming like vultures on anything thrown out there, lol

I guess that's part of the fun in this thread

OK, I posted about Nintendo Power mags way back on like page 5. I found a good site that has all the covers and sometimes the contents. Check here: http://retromags.com/wiki/index.php?title=Nintendo_Power_(USA) so I don't have to do homework for you. (I did a little bit of homework for the people who first PMed me, but just check to make sure the issues look ok). I believe I have EVERY ISSUE from #1-151, and then 194-196. Some are in much better shape than others.

Also check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Power if you want to see which issues have things like certain comics (Zelda, Metroid, etc) and whatnot. I also may have some of the early Players Guides that they mention, but I'll probably keep those. Feel free to ask about them.

Again, if someone wants to take them ALL, they get first priority. And you'll have to pay for shipping.

I also have these. Again, some are in pretty bad shape:

- Nintendo Power Index (booklet with a list of every game in the first 50 issues and what issue it's in)
- Nintendo Power Advance #1 (when GBA came out, a strategy guide for some games)
- various NP Power Supply catalogs (for Nintendo merch)
- Pokemon Power 1 & 6 (mini-mags about Pokemon)
- mini Killer Instinct comic

Electronic Games
- Vol. 2, Issue 7 ("The New Look of Gaming")

EGM
- #57 (Beavis and Butthead, MKII, Mario Land 3)
- #66 (Killer Instinct, Samurai Shodown 2, Virtual Boy)
- #87 (Tomb Raider, Mario 64, Playstation RPGs)

EGM2
- #1 (Super Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat II)

Gamefan
- Vol. 3, Issue 2 (Earthworm Jim Special edition, Beyond Oasis, Killer Instinct)
- Vol. 3, Issue 6 (Bug!, MK3, Street Fighter the Movie, VF2, Tekken)

Gamepro
- #1 [cover ripped off, but still present] (random generic characters, SMB3, Power Glove)
- #58 (Making of MK II, Sonic 3 strats, NBA Jam TE)
- #59 (Virtua Racing, MKII, NBA Jam, FFVI JP preview [wow, surprised me])
- #60 [no cover] (Super Street Fighter II, Super Metroid strats)
- #61 [no cover] (Super Street Fighter II Turbo strats, MKII strats)
- #62 (Death and Return of Superman, Incredible Hulk, MKII)
- #64 (Beavis and Butthead, Primal Rage strats, MKII, Sonic and Knuckles, FFIII)
- #69 (Mortal Kombat 3, Phantasy Star IV, Road Rash 3)

Game Players
- Vol. 8, Issue 4 (X-Men: Children of the Atom, MK3 preview, Killer Instinct)

64 magazine
- #13 (Forsaken, Quake 64, World Cup 98)

Ultra Gameplayers
- #102 (San Fran Rush 64, FFVII, MK4)
- #103 (Sonic R, FFVII, OoT preview)
- #104 (Diddy Kong Racing, OoT preview, MGS preview)

- Sega Force supplement to EGM (small preview of Saturn games)
- mini-mag with preview of Jaguar games
- Mario mania by 64 magazine (booklet with tips on SM64 and Mario Kart 64)

Don't just post because I'm not reading the thread right now. PM ME!

ALSO: I'm going on vacation next week, so if things aren't done by then, you'll just have to be patient.

These have been claimed:

NP #1-25 - Mr. Spinnington
NP #31,34,41,47,48,54,77,78,79 - Straydog1980
NP #75 - ToySoldier
NP #26-30, 32-33, 35-40, 42-46, 49, 55-56, 59-66 - mariosbrother
NP # 68, 72, 73, 82-88, 95, 100, 102, 116, 134; NP Index; Mario Mania - DrKirby
NP # 50, 53, 70, 80, 81 - VGChampion
NP # 101, 103, 104, 106, 107, 109, 112, 113, 115, 118, 122-124 ;All non-NP mags - Pewp

Mighty nice of you even tho you could have sold FF7 and gotten enough to at least get Crisis Core new.

why not just randomly select someone who wants it rather then who can f5 the fastest
If someone is dedicated/obsessed enough to refresh every thirty seconds, they should be deserving of something. :p

god dammit. I was going to do that. I hate you.

NeOak, if you don't give me dibs on the thread, I'll curse bad things to happen to you every time you quote me. Worse things.
