Yeah I haven't been that greedy either... I only took things that I've heard good things about and really wanted to try,

Given: Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Episode 1
Taken: GTA:GBA and Powerstone for DC

Exactly, I can't express how many times I've looked up the prices on Harvest Moon Magical Melody and then looked at my meager disposable income and pulled one of these :(. That I'm actually going to be playing it soon is awesome.

I'd hate to think I've come across as a vulture in this thread, but for someone like me who's never had much money for games dating back to when I got an NES while everyone was getting SNESes, and is now trying to build up a library of PS2 and Xbox games I missed out on, this thread is (or was, maybe) a godsend.

i'd like to make srue people aren't questioning how greedy I've been in this thread.

And I have passed on many things to let people who wanted it more than me cause thats the whole point of this thread, to give this stuff a good home.

And ya I have been really requesting a game gear and really would like one but my extreme love towards gettin one has been exaggerrated for a little fun in the thread.

So i dunno, just kinda wanted to put it out there for people who are trying to call out greedy people.

EDIT: I'm really enjoying this thread guys let's just keep it fun like it used to be :/, the walkman with the megabass guys...MEGAbass

it's not spinnington's fault that people STILL KEPT GIVING HIM STUFF.
the givers should make some sort of judgment call on whether or not the home their game is going to is good, or if it will be raided by animal control and thousands of malnourished and underplayed games will go to the pound :(

No dude, you were cool. You were like me, refreshing the page from time to time and keeping in the conversation but A) unable to compete with people who dedicated themselves to it (and sadly, that's what it literally became, a competition) and B) watched decent things you could have called dibs on but didn't because you were waiting for the one or two items you really wanted. At least that's the vibe I got from you.

See, had I gotten one good item or game when I first came in here, I probably wouldn't have posted the 30 something times that I did, but alas.

ya I originally dibbed Polarium, then changed it to the zine because I didn't have a ds anyway, then changed it back to polarium when I realised like 4 people tried to dib it, without anyone noticing :lol

You may say I'm being a debbie downer or whatever, but joking with dibs right now isn't going to resuscitate the thread. It's scaring Team F5 that works 24/7 that's going to bring back peace. My hope is that these little discussions or "derailments" if you wish will serve as a message, back up, you got your loot, give others a chance.

If you remember correctly, I think dibs became really big when around page 40 I called dibs on a game gear right after Captain Cool had stepped away, declaring one better not come up :lol .

good job :) your the kind of person this thread started with, we had a lot of great givers and a pretty good amount of takers but nobody was very greedy. Once the ratio of givers to takers got WAY out of proportion is when tension started building, it was inevitable with this thread staying at the top of the boards and getting continual exposure (if it was stickied I don't think people would have constantly been reminded of it ha)

I hope my asking for a HL2 voucher wasn't out of line..vgamer and teknoman were really trying to give those away for the first 20 pages. I thought it was about the PS3 thing until earlier today.

Dude, it's cool. We were. So many people have those games these days but I wanted someone new to experience the awesomeness of them... and you asking when seeing we were trying to give them away is fine... no one was expecting you to read this whole gigantic thread!

I'm still trying trade around for Fear Effect and a few others, but if i can't get any deals in a week(Probably less) You can have mine. Its just Half Life 2. Not ep1 or anything else just to say.
