Take science for example, this week we're planting flowers and next week we'll be watching caterpillar turn into butterflies. She loves me reading a Dr. Seuss, The Cat in a Hat Knows a lot about That, or other book to her every night. She's only five ans school is fun to her. If I were working I couldn't just leave her at home by herself.
She enjoys Nick Jr. and Reader Rabbit games, and watching education videos.
(BTW, I'm a teacher and just because "schools out in the summer" doesn't mean I stop teaching or learning either. Besides, I'm hoping to get a summer school teaching job so I can afford to send my daughter to science summer camp.)
You sir, are a good man (unless you aren't actually a man, but my point stands).
