Yay, a correct answer! The answer is that Lily loves bread. Particularly soft bread; if it's anywhere within striking distance during the night, we'll wake up in the morning to find the bag chewed through and a big hunk removed. My vet says it's not the greatest thing for her to be eating, but it's not fatal either.
