I looked at the reviews on Amazon and even there are reported issues of 3600 memory not reaching those speeds. I guess there is nothing perfect that will be 100% working without issues.G-Skill should have a compability list on their homepage for each memory available.

I've been PC Gaming since 2015 with little to no issues. Had both Intel and AMD builds. Which is interesting because my AMD builds as of late have been the most stable. My 2070 Super and Ryzen 3700x have been nothing but great to me.
Sweet spot for me is my 2070 Super for Halo Infinite and a PS5
Sure, same here, but it can't be denied that even in that scenario that you might run into issues with, for example, Nvidia drivers. For me the positives outweigh the negatives but if I was ok with playing on console controller and didn't like strategy games like Total War I'd probably stick with console.
Congrats. I look forward to your next thread later this year.UPDATE:
So, I decided to give Microcenter a call and see if they would be merciful and allow me to exchange my ROG Strix X570-E.
I asked nicely and they said they were willing.
So I exchanged it for an Asrock X570 Taichi which is possibly the best mobo I have ever seen and bought some GSkill 3600 memory. Will be updating tomorrow
Very kind of them given the age of the hardware. Good luck.UPDATE:

I can't speak to your GPU usage issues unless it was the 2004 update... but for Arkham:PC gaming is indeed a royal pain in the ass, and I openly scoff at anyone who says otherwise. However, when it works like it's supposed to -- it's the best version of gaming, in my opinion. It's like flying first class. Everything is "just better".
Anyway, just as a recent rundown of "pain in my fucking ass" PC activity -- Some of my games recently began to run at around %50 FPS (low GPU usage out of nowhere, I've done exhaustive research why this occurs and it's nothing I did) -- most of these games are Cryengine titles. After extensive investigation and research I've come to the conclusion that it's a result of the recent Windows Update. So now a few games I'm interested in playing are stuttery, miserable messes.
Just installed Batman Arkham Aslyum, an ancient game that should run flawlessly on a modern gaming PC -- game is capped at 62FPS, I have the hardware to run it at 250FPS so I go in and start editing .INI files. Eventually I get the game to run at uncapped frames but now there's MASSIVE stuttering -- drops down to 20 FPS sometimes out of nowhere. Seriously, I'd rather play this shit on a PS3. So I do MORE research (lol). Editing more INI files. Somewhat better results. Now I've spent 20 minutes playing the game and 60 minutes troubleshooting.
Welcome to PC gaming!
Nope, not using the launcher, never saw it suggested in any of the research I did. Is it supposed to solve those issues? I’ll give it a try.Very kind of them given the age of the hardware. Good luck.
Any idea if your old motherboard was set to use low current idle for the "Power Supply Idle Control" setting? You didn't really specify which PSU you had AFAICT, but some don't play nice with that setting and it would explain the blue screens under light load/idle but faring fine in gaming. Wouldn't explain it suddenly becoming a problem unless some settings had been changed/reset, though. Perhaps as part of a BIOS upgrade?
I can't speak to your GPU usage issues unless it was the 2004 update... but for Arkham:
I believe you mean "Welcome to UE3 games" and PS3/X360 era ports with capped framerates. Did you end up using the Advanced Launcher?
Suggested on PCGamingWiki for high fps gameplay, and it might be doing more than just setting bSmoothFrameRate.Nope, not using the launcher, never saw it suggested in any of the research I did. Is it supposed to solve those issues? I’ll give it a try.
PC gaming does indeed suck!
Last games that I tried:
-Red dead redemption 2: blackscreen crash.
-diagnosis: DX12 wasn't compatible with SLI plus Gsync
-fix: switch to Vulkan
-Sekiro: wouldn't support 21:9 resolution and had choppy framerate
-diagnosis: buggy game
-fix: downloaded fan made patch
-Assassin's Creed Origins: choppy performance even o Medium settings
-diagnosis: game doesn't support SLI
-fix: turn off SLI in drivers
-Assassin's Creed Odyssey: codn't run, CTD
-diagnosis: incompatible with NVIDIA driver sharpening
-fix: turn off the *** filter in driver settings
PC gaming is nice with 60+ FPS, ultrawide and Ultra graphics, but when you just want to play de f***ng game, a PS4 is king.
Im not out of the woods yet. Im feeling "good" at the moment, but very very cauitious. Im kind of pissed at the new case since I wanted to put the rad on the top instead of the front. There wasnt quite enough clearance for my 280mm radiator.this man was done with pc gaming, just upgraded ram today. best example of pc gaming ive seen yet.
You've posted exactly the same thing twice in this thread.
Are you a fucking bot?
JohnnyFootball new motherboard looks nice, good luck and hopefully you solve the pcie 4.0 drive issues.
Thats a driver issue.Had another crash, the Sabrent drives have been eliminated as the cause, as this crash occurred with my Samsung 3.0 drive installed. I was able to get a screenshot. What's funny is that I leave youtube running for an hour and nothing happens, but within 5 minutes the crash happens. I took a screenshot of the disaster for ya'lls amusement.
I've updated the drivers and have had that issue. Even after replacing the motherboard and the memory.Thats a driver issue.
But I see you got a new MObo. Nice one. Hope its running like a dream now.
But why use such software, when Defender while connected to the internet is mostly sufficient.I just came across this. I use Malwarebytes myself.
Malwareytes Premium Breaking Ndu.sys
I've come here because I've exhausted all other options. I have a Gigabyte AORUS X5 V8 laptop with a KillerNetworking adapter. Since April 2020, my system has been periodically getting a BSOD with a hard reset, creating a number of different errors all tied to the Ndu.sys for Windows 10. It has g...forums.malwarebytes.com
I disabled Ndu.sys and I still got one. Instead of it being caused by Ndu.sys it didn't show a specific driver it just said KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLEDJohnnyFootball any luck with your problem?
Is there a particular reason you're running both concurrently? Double wrapping or something?I disabled Ndu.sys and I still got one. Instead of it being caused by Ndu.sys it didn't show a specific driver it just said KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
The errors I am dealing with have been going on for a month or so and have progressively gotten worse. Like today, the system seemed fine and stable and bam! 3 bluescreen back to back.
WHat is amazing is that none of these issues happen while gaming. I did a whole two hour gaming session of Metro Last Light on PC Gamepass. No bluescreens. No nothing. Ran perfect.
But when I start surfing the web is when they happen. No predictable way to make it happen.
However, I am starting to think that the issue may indeed be related to Malwarebytes and Avast conflicting with eachother. I've used both for well over a year and until recently never had an issue.
I suppose it's possible it may have something to do with a recent update of both of them. The fact that the error is due to ndu.sys suggests that it is possible that Avast and Malwarebytes are conflicting when web browsing.
I didn't read through all your posts over here and assumed that you already did tests with a fresh windows install and only the drivers and the defective software (Chrome in this particular case). It's always the best place to start before test the hardware.I disabled Ndu.sys and I still got one. No, because you can't do anything in safe mode.Safe mode. Have you run in safe mode?
I have done more fresh WIndows installs over the past week than I have done my entire life. I am fucking sick of it, to put it mildly.I didn't read through all your posts over here and assumed that you already did tests with a fresh windows install and only the drivers and the defective software (Chrome in this particular case). Detect pc problems can be very painful, I feel your pain. But, just to rule that out, have you done any of those fresh installs tests without the daily use software, like the aforementioned Antivirus, office suits, codecs and etc?I have done more fresh WIndows installs over the past week than I have done my entire life. yes, there is a reason. I want maximum protection. I try to be careful, but malware and online virus are sneeky things. Is there a particular reason you're running both concurrently? Double wrapping or something?
If instead you're just using MB for occasional scans with no background service they shouldn't be conflicting.
Murder one or both pieces of software. See how it goes.
Whenever I'm looking up cars online, I only rely on windows defender, incognito mode, and the strength of my right arm. In any particular order.yes, there is a reason. I want maximum protection. I try to be careful, but malware and online virus are sneeky things.

However, I am looking into disabling one of them. If I had to pick,I'd rather keep malwarebytes
I would happily disable both of them if I could determine something that is likely to trigger the bluescreen and see if disabling one or both would prevent it.Detect pc problems can be very painful, I feel your pain. Windows defender 10 has been pretty competent this time around personally.yes, there is a reason. I want maximum protection. I try to be careful, but malware and online virus are sneeky things.

I really hope you get it sorted out. I dealt with straight up freezing (not a bsod) for months. I tried looking at event viewer and sifting through any logs I could, but it wouldn't give me much info since I would never have a bsod, only freezing. Also, similar to your issue, it only occurred while browsing the web. On an off chance, I moved to google chrome instead of firefox, and it solved my issue 100%. This happened years ago and I've since upgraded hardware and have done a few Windows formats since, but it goes to show... PC's can be fucking weird sometimes.UPDATE:
For the first time I had my computer straight up freeze. That hasn't happened in this ordeal. It just straight up froze and it happened while surfing the web, reading about Ndu.sys issues.
At this point, I am ready to throw in the towel and just return this Taichi motherboard to Microcenter as well as the 3600 memory. Then maybe get a 10700K and a Z490 motherboard. I will sell my Ryzen 3900X online. I've seen what it is going for and know I can make most of my money back. If it turns out the GPU is defective, at the very least I can RMA that to EVGA and use the onboard Intel for the time being.
Help me out here.
Ublock origin?Windows defender 10 has been pretty competent this time around personally.
Ublock origin.
Best one is VPN.
I get it. You're better off adding another layer to your browser via extensions, though. Noscript is wonderful in that respect once configured. uBlock Origin is excellent as well, though uses more finesse given it is primarily for ads.yes, there is a reason. I want maximum protection. For what it's worth I am leaning towards Avast and Malwarebytes not playing nice with eachother being the cause. Maybe a recent update in one or both of them have caused this. Both of them have coexisted just fine for well over a year.
