My vote...Actually I'm 17, and miss out on voting by like 2 or 3 months, when I turn 18 in January...Anyway, I would be voting for Bush.

Two points:

To those who say Bush and Kerry are "the same", "lesser of two evils" and/or undecided:

- Are Bush and Kerry the same on abortion, environment, supreme court, civil rights?

- You've had 3.5 years to decide if you want more of Bush. Do you or not?

IIRC, California elected Republican presidents from sometime in the 50's to the 90's.

The last time California went to a Republican was in 1988, to George H.W. Bush. But that was a very, very slim victory.

+1 Kerry
U.S. citizen who is 7 months too young to vote this November

My brother, mother and father also fully support Kerry, as does the 90% of my 2000-student school. Whee. :p

I just read this on CNN's 9-11 news story, and I'm not sure where to post it.

"Three years ago, the struggle of good against evil was compressed into a single morning. In the space of only 102 minutes, our country lost more citizens than were lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor," Bush said. "Time has passed, but the memories do not fade. We remember the images of fire, and the final calls of love, and the courage of rescuers who saw death and did not flee."

The struggle of good against evil? That first sentence is just absolutely absurd and cringe-worthy.

EDIT: the rest of it is fine and sentimental enough. but that first part...... wow.

America and its REAL allies are unquestionably good. Al Qaeda and all their COVERT SUPPORTERS are unquestionably evil. You need not concern yourself with any other information than good guys must attack bad guys.

Kerry comes off too much as a con artist. More like a sleazy salesman trying to get you to buy into that 1 extra package deal before you walk out the door in disgust. Kerry is bad for the U.S. and will only weaken us down to the liberal level. Bush is our only choice, realistically.

Kerry comes off as a con artist? Bush is a con artist. The spin Bush and the Republicans have put on our economy is sickening. And don't get me started on Iraq. At least Kerry doesn't come off as a redneck with a 5th grade education.

Really? How exactly? Some reasons that have to do with policy please, and not 35 years ago.

and will only weaken us down to the liberal level.

I smell the Bush/Cheney re-election scare tactic™. It's pathetic how low the Republicans will stoop to remain in office. Speaking of doing anything to stay in office... I remember Bush ads running the slogan, "This isn't a time for pessimism and rage. It's a time for optimism, steady leadership, and progress." Funny, the RNC was the most childish, pessimistic, and rageful display of political idiocy I've seen in my lifetime. But hey, whatever works. Republicans would never get elected by debating policy, and they know that. Smear campaigns it is.

Now that's an informed decision based on the issues!

And there you go with the insulting of others. People like you begin the stupid name calling and then you wonder why things begin to break down. In a way it is a great thing Kerry is backed by people like yourself, it only spells failure for your stance. The fact that Kerry has already fooled you with his con-tactics already proves this point. It's just too bad he's fooled more than just you.

Just like you, Kerry doesn't even know what he wants, other than the fat Presidential pay check.

It was the liberals that began the 2nd grade level smear campaign before any of this mess started, yet you wonder why the Republicans are smearing back, and not only that, but successfully ruining Kerry's chances at ever winning anything come election time. Kerry has been so exposed for being a savage war criminial, an untrustworthy man, very unintelligent on issues and acrobatic (if you know what I mean) that it has become a shoe-in loss for him and the people, like yourself, who betrayed the U.S. because you would vote for him if you could. Kerry's loss only spells good things for you, for me and the entire country. I don't expect you to understand this now, Liberalcrat is the very definition of being unable to comprehend the facts, but when you grow up, way after Kerry loses, you may begin to understand what you thought wrong.

Then reply to my post.

Happy now?

Could you clarify the "savage war criminal" and the "people betraying the US by voting for Kerry" bits if you could.

You know, i've been a GA member for what seems forever now, and i have never felt the need to insult anyone in my time on this forum, but...

Junon, either you are a joke character (have to be), or the single most idiotic person i've ever had the misfortune of reading posts from.

Jesus fucking christ!

Thing is, most conservatives in this country would 100% agree with his poor excuse for a debate.

Why was he banned?

If people were banned for being stupid, the whole forum would consist of me and...ummm, err...

I got banned for calling sheep "Republicans." I now know the sheep didn't deserve the name calling that was directed at them.

I think that was a symbolic ban...just to show that the mods aren't biased against conservatives.

The wonderful thing about conspiracy theories is that anything can be supporting evidence. ;)
