Length of time in development is completely irrelevant when it comes to awards considerations. Ori, nor any other game, doesn't deserve to put out of consideration for that.

I think Ori looks... pretty decent, but something about the way it combines cg and 2d and the Lisa Frank color palette kind of puts me off it.

Ori and the Blind Forest is eye candy. Most beautiful and most colorful game ever made. Happy to see it win best art.
