Does anyone else think the matrix demo looked like shit?

It looks absolutely amazing… I don’t think any game came close to that.
Sadly it is not that interesting.

R&C is the best looking game for me imo it isn’t close to what that Matrix demo showed.

Framerate issues, but I did like the chase sequence. Felt 'new-gen' in that sense.

The Matrix stuff...The lip movement for Trinity was a little weird for me in the car, but considering this is freeware, the amount of work that went into is awesome. Not all of them were as successful as others, but I've always admired the Wachowski(s) eagerness to use gaming to promote The Matrix in a very hands on way, almost always incorporating the actors and things like that.

It is jaw dropping.

I can't believe anyone would see this running on their own console on their own TV and say "meh game x looks better". NOTHING on any console looks better than this. Some games (new saints row) look like a joke in the face of this technology. The fact they could put together a city that looks like this for a tech demo is ridiculous.

They could improve temporal AA, yeah. Some refinement in areas would improve it.... but that doesn't change that this thing just showed what these consoles can REALLY do... and it's far beyond what we've seen up until this point.

Outside of some framerate hitches and input lag, both things that I think would be ironed out in a final product, I was incredibly impressed by the tech demo. Most next gen looking thing I've seen on these consoles, at least when it comes to graphically fidelity. Really hope we see an actual Matrix game.

The matrix game looks good but also a lot didn't look super nice. The cars in the chase scene looked very fake and were hovering on the road more than anything else. Also everything was dark toned which I don't like (yes I know it's the matrix).
