Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
Maybe I live on a different people, but I see some gamers beating their chest and hooting and hollering over the awards. I watched it this morning with the luxury of fast forwarding all the bullshit I did not want to see. (about 90% of the show) Weird orchestra music pieces in the middle of the show, A performance by Snoop Dogg (who hasn't had a hit in over a decade and has become a commercialized shill) and just no games that get me personally excited. I will go over the so called "big announcements" in my mind. Some of the big announements I found bland.

1. Naughty Dog's newest game: We are still doing woke stuff? I knew the second I saw the protagonist butch hair cut and Girl Boss Demeanor, I knew this game wasn't for me. Neil Cuckman strikes again. I will gladly pass

2. The Witcher 4: This has been known to be coming out for years. I will give them credit for showing the trailer but kinda meh.

3. ICO type of game: We know almost nothing about this. Is it 3 years away? 5 years away? There was so little gameplay shown there is no reason to hope it's releasing soon. I know when a developer does not state a time frame in their trailers it's going to be a long ways away.

4. Borderlands 4: I love borderlands but this did not get me pumped up. I cannot blame the show for it but was kinda underwhelming.

5. Okami is back: This is a good announcement because the first game Is a real nice game.

6. Split Fiction? It does not look fun or appealing to me

7. A new Turok? I loved Turok on the N64 but it never was a beloved franchise. Making 25 year old franchises that few cared about? Weird

8. A new Ninja Gaiden: Good for the fans but I typically do not have fun with super hard games myself.

To each his own, some people were on here drooling and Jizzing all over their screen and others like me were just bored to death.

Yeah not a big fan of it, picked F and was only interested in the Witcher 4 but still wasn't extremely hyped about it.

Nah, I enjoyed it. It fills a whole (not completely) left by the absence of E3. Fun to see trailers, hard work being rewarded, and reveals.

Edit: It's clear that it has gone completely corporate (by design), but that is just what happens when your industry becomes legitimized, and there is massive investment.

It was way too long. Me and the Mrs drunk watched it and we were absolutely steaming by the end.

I liked Sega’s showing with new RGG and VF6. Mafia looked great but we already saw it. And Okami and Onimusha were interesting.

Witcher is 4-5 years away and I kind of wanted character creator based Witcher like CP2077.

ND trailer was meh.

Witcher 4 is back - thats good
it was shown with a completely CGI rendered video complete with uglified ciri - thats bad

Naughty dog new game is shown - thats good
its shown with a they/them genderfluid style character with no distinct personality and you fight generic robots - thats bad

You say this about Project Robot and then proceed to praise the Okami announcement?

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
It was the best it's ever been, plus Virtual Fighter & Onimusha were megaton announcements.
The stuff you focused on...meh

For the most part, it was ass. I had a small pop out window on mute and was doing other things on my PC. When a trailer started to play, I'll full screen it. When trailer was done, I went back to my own business.

One of the better shows I've seen in a while. At least the first half of it, then it derailed somewhere in between and became a train wreck by the end.

Some really good announcements though.. Witcher 4, Onimusha reboot, Okami sequel, Ueda game, Virtua Fighter 5, Project Century, Rebirth PC and a couple others. Games from the east absolutely beasting.

That ND trailer was hugely dissapointing though. What a load of tosh that was, and the thing was waaaaaay too long.
