Maybe they are not doing office stuff because they are secretly moving to a bigger office so they can start the cooking site.
Or maybe the Harmonix guys duded the office pretty bad while they where over during GDC so they are airing it out to get the rid of the stank?

All this craziness has inspired me to dig out and dust off my old flightstick and download that Rise of Flight game. Mine's just a humble one-piece with a twist-stick rudder, but it gets the job done (I'd love a dedicated rudder pedal set, though):
Flight sims, you guys. I don't know how I ever fell out of love with them. I'm reasonably sure I'm going to be building a Track IR system by this time next week.
EDIT - Oh, now I remembered why I stopped playing them: because my stick fucking sucks. I lost the power cable for it, the one that makes it Force Feedback, and without it the stick won't return to its centrepoint so I have to be constantly making the tiniest adjustments to keep the plane from flipping out. I need to go check Craigslist for something like Vinny's got.

i didnt really like the saitek x52 that i had, the stick felt too light and i guess.
this all seems kind of suspicious, no tested videos for weeks now, giant bomb working out of Dave's house, no GDC content.

Oh god, I remember using your exact flight stick back when I started at Lucasarts on various test plans as a hardware tester. It was a terrible peripheral.
You should just go for a good Saitek stick. Go big or go home!

Isn't that not really a flight sim and just has the Jane's name slapped on it? Could've sworn that one's closer to something like Ace Combat than the great old Jane sims from the 90s.

It's kind of sad that their first guess for why a Japanese shooter might be good is for goofiness. I had way more fun with Binary Domain than Gears 3 just on the merits of its gameplay. Big Bo is just a bonus.

They better keep using youtube, where I live our internet is super expensive, but they don't count data used for youtube. If they get rid of youtube I probably won't be able to watch their videos anymore.

Kind of sad to see such segmented and pieced levels and segments though.
Also I was super frustrated he did not get damage on the guns. It was the obvious best upgrade.
