The Giant Bomb Quick Look Thread 2

Binary Domain definitely looks like a game that I might be into. The gameplay doesn't seem particularly exciting (though no less than Gears), but the setting seems really cool.

Binary Domain is all about the story (which is a great kind of wacky since it is Yakuza + Blade Runner) and the boss fights.

The actual game itself is pretty functional. I mean, it's better than Uncharted 3 at least.

NO BIG BO!

HIT THAT BIG ASS-RAMP TO THE MOOOOOOON!

Speaking of Big Ass ramp, after watching the quick look "best of" montages on youtube I wanted to check again some 50cent stuff... It's weird, they made a video review of Blood on the sand but no quicklook!? wtf

I think there was quick look but they pulled it. I know I am not insane when it comes to this and it comes up repeatedly if they did a quick look but I'm sure of it...

I might be going crazy too but I remember a QL. Maybe it was another kind of video feature...

Ryan said the n-word in the Blood on the Sand QL, that's why they pulled it from the site.

...Couldn't they have bleeped or edited it?

I guess it might be more trouble than its worth. Or the comments would be a mess.

Actually on the GB forums answers about the video are all over the place too. It's like a conspiracy.

50 Cent only had a video review, which is still online. All that big-ass-ramp-talk was from the Bombcast. They never did a Quick Look for it. They first started Quick Looks at the start of 2009 (and those were still very early and usually had just one guy talking, not a duo), and Blood on the Sand released at around the same time, so they probably just skipped that game because they didn't do Quick Looks for everyhttp://www.neogaf.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=36139595 single game yet back then.

I think I must've melded the podcast talk and the video review into an imaginary QL in my mind, lol
