If they like Battleship then they really need to QL the Carrier Command beta at some point. Whenever they can get a decent PC running.
 
The hope is, after E3, there will be a period of time when there isn't constantly things happening (Moving out, Moving in, PAX, Babies, Trips to North Korea, E3) and they'll finally have an opportunity to properly settle into their new offices.

My biggest concern is the possible lack of Dave's involvement in video content for the foreseeable future. I'm hoping once things hit their stride again, Dave can be torn away from the site redesign long enough to be in videos regularly.

Well considering Vinny had a baby, Drew went to NK, Dave has been rebuilding the entire site and they didn't even have a PC for most of that time, no shit they haven't had any.

Turned out to be a great quick look I felt, really liked the way they changed their impressions of a game over the course of half an hour. Doesn't happen often that we are surprised by a game and its great to see it from the GB guys.

Replaying max Payne 2 recently and it's the same problem. Max never really shrugs at damage and you have to really adjust to keeping one eye on the damage indicator as well as the action. Love MP2, but that aspect feels way too antiquated now.

I understand the argument against red jelly, but maybe max's indicator can pulse wildly or animate in some way to better indicate "hit tab now!!!!".

Graphics wise. I mean, the environments do look a million times better than Episode 1, but c'mon son. Hedgehog Engine is a work of art. DIMPS Engine or whatever certainly isn't.

Graphics. There some other gems about the music being just like the other games and how the best part of Sonic is bouncing off of springs, but I don't want to rewatch the QL to get quotes.

(watching Patrick keep getting killed by the shoddy Tails programming that has Tails stop flying and land on a platform if he gets close to a corner was satisfying to me. Im not alone!)

Yeah, I don't know why they did that. I've switched the player to Youtube now, 720p on that loads fast and looks better.

I had to rewind the video to see if he really said that when Green Scar posted it in the OT, but I was like o_O

3DS Generations, maybe. Console/PC Generations? Nah.
 
Battleship definitely has a cool idea. I would love a more fleshed out, polished game with a similar idea, especially on Wii U where you are constantly managing your battleships while fighting.

This is the truth.

Also, Sonic games aren't platformers and whenever you contribute to the game-play they aren't fun anymore.

I think GB should just stop covering Sonic content all together. It's weird to have them say that there was never any depth to Sonic. The way they talk about it it almost seems like they've never played the games.

Episode 2 looks bad regardless, though. Why did DIMPS make Sonic's wind up to top speed so prolonged? He moves so sluggishly.

Yeah, the idea has potential. Would be better if the ship screen didn't have a load in between too.

That QL also has some nice quips, lol. "I didn't realize we were in Adventureland."

Game of Thrones QL was worth it if only for the archer "missing" the headshot but landing his arrow right in the guy's crotch, hahahaha.

I know giantbomb is a very personally orientated site and so we actually care about who appears in the video content... but you know the purpose of the quick looks is to give you an overview of a game so you can see whether or not you're interested in it, it doesn't HAVE to always be an entertaining barrel of laughs that your guaranteed with the Jeff & Vinny quick looks.
EDIT: Just saying this cus this thread LOVES to shit on any quick look that doesn't have their favourites in it.
