Working on Tryon 3 I realized how unorthodox the ZZ is in comparison to most hero Gundams are with how bulky it is. While I appreciate that I wonder what led to that decision.

Also, when is the ZZ ver.KA coming again?

It's a 'big bad' suit. It's not surprising. Aside from the Char/Full Frontal anything, there's The-O, Qubeley, Epyon, and Turn X, just off the top of my head. Some people have been asking for Virsago for a while (although that's kinda murkier since Ashtaron's really part of the set... and I want Bertigo myself first!). And there's what might be Bandai's most successful villain suit ever, the Strike Freedom.

Yeah but other than Strike Freedom most villain suits come years after the hero suit. They're low on the priority scale. Turn X only came out like seven years after Turn A!

Edit: Also, just how difficult to deal with are Dragon Momoko's kits? I'm really interested in their Destiny but it's too cheap for me to trust. What's the catch?

If you can, I recommend buying and supporting Bandai.

But in regards to Dragon Momoko, all their kits usually have 1 or 2 flaws, in either otherwise a very good and well made kit.

The Destiny in particular has shoulder armor that is not molded well and can be a paid to assemble and get right without taking careful time to do it.

It also has slightly loose ankles.

Most Dragon Momoko kits are very tight fits, especially the head. Which is a good and a bad thing.

But nothing that can't be fixed with some paint.

They're not as easy and well made as Bandai, but close. Just take your time and don't try and force it too much. Be prepared to sand if necessary.

They also provide effect parts and special stands only to those who preorder their kits. Any print after you need to buy it separately.

On the plus side, nearly every single part is undergated with a Dragon Momoko kit.

Quick WIP pic of the Lunagazer:

I already adored the design of the Stargazer, but the Lunagazer is just so beautiful. The white plastic also has this sort of finish to it. It's hard to capture in a picture, but when holding the runners you'll notice it right away.

Neat little gimmick, it comes with an adapter that lets you mount the old HG Stargazer's backpack on it. I may have to dig that out later.

Wow I like this Harry, but then when he told Poe to find herself a better man??? Harry is already the best!

Oddly enough Paptimus is one of my favorite villains in Gundam. He's not cartoon evil like Rau Le Croissant or out in the open, but you gotta love a guy that stuck to his long con.

Was completely out of nowhere and everyone just brushed it off when it happened. My biggest wtf was that moment in any Gundam I have to admit. He was saying that he did not want to get involved in the axis fight and then she reminded him and everyone that Leena was captured by Glemy, so his reaction to this was to choke her for a hot minute then her being like "oh hes so passionate" come the hell on. Was a complete schizophrenic moment.

I don't know that I hate Zeta, but while rewatching it with my father I've become even more disconnected with the massive praise it gets online. When I first watched it I thought it was okay, but on this rewatch there's a lot of things that bother me.

From little things like gun shenanigans where someone has a gun pulled on someone and lets them pull out their own pistol, suddenly evening the odds.

To how every episode (till the last few) starts slow, builds into action, and then action abruptly ends to make sure we end on a calmer note.

I was already bothered by Reccoa's portrayal before this, and Rosammy Bodam's really weird arc. This experience is, sort of, solidifying for me that, outside of the OG Gundam

Yeah, this here is some fucked up shit. The bitch smacking is funny in Zeta but this here is full on fucking assault and if that was Zeta Bright, Judau would've got his ass thrown in the brig for that shit.

I didn't think that was their official site, their prices are more expensive than going through 3rd party routes or just buying directly from Hong Kong.

It also doesn't have their most recent releases like Unicorn or MB Strike Freedom.

I recommend a few channels to go through to ship to Europe like Samueldecal or some other place.

I need to get knockoffs anyway for research purposes and you can get them for quite close to Bandai prices and not highly marked up.

Seeing these earth people new to space is pretty amazing, even just the basic space stuff they dont even know. Kind of laughed at Loran's statement when the others just wanted to go out there.

Harry's dedication to Dianna is amazing, though he keeps being so close but not close enough The two Dianan's sendoff was my favorite part. Im surprised the characters didnt react to it.

Kamille is like that... But its his teen angst that will make you like him later on...

Trust me on this, Zeta is really epic by the end of it all due to so many characters done right.

PS: Gundam Seed Destiny tried to do a terrible job ripping off Zeta and Double ZZ for its story. :|

ok, did some work... almost done with gp-01fb, simple build, no paint(except small silver highlight) or anything extra, using only decals provided and one godhand nipper. it's simply an amazing nipper. barely any nub marks. that thing cuts so clean. feels like a mini beam saber going through plastic =)

i have to redo the panel lines on the forearms but the pencil held up well for the rest of the kit. i've been avoiding using gundam marker bc they look too heavy but it's taking a while to do. i'll do the rest tomorrow.
