Yeah you could see it coming. Thought they would have done something over the top like The Shining all over his face or something but they where as classy as they could have been i guess.

ugh, I wish they hadn't pulled that twist, nothing at all during the show minus the brief gym scene has ever indicated that twist or even hinted at it. pretty weak on the writer's part.

I just caught up with everything. Late, I know, but I've always been caught up with something else while RJ Berger is on.
This season was awesome. Just like Season 1, RJ had his happy moments and had his unfortunate moments. They managed to keep a good balance with the good and bad and in all honesty if Season 2 didn't end the way it did, I may have been upset with the series. The only happy ending I could accept would be for the series finale, but even that should have a twist to it.
I wonder what else will come RJ's way in the next season.
Fake Edit: I sure as hell did not see Max being gay coming. That was a swerve ball. :lol

There were SO MANY fun possibilities for next season. It was like a writer's gold mine. I really wanted to see what happened with Lilly being pregnant with RJ's kids, Max being gay, and coach now being back on RJ's ass. I guess the actor who plays Max doesn't have to kiss boys anymore (though he was so hot at doing it) or RJ's 30+ year old love interest pretend she is a highschooler anymore (though she was so hot at doing it).
This show will be missed by me. If Teen Wolf get's a second season over this I don't want to live anymore.

God dammit.
I really liked the first season. I finished watching it last week. Me and my roomate finished second season last night, and now I'm just annoyed.
There's no character development or growth. I mean there's a little, I suppose, in that something might happen and then it carries to the next episode and then that's it. Everyone is so one dimensional it's painful.
RJ tries do do whats right, all the time, so most of the time he does nothing, cause he's caught in the middle of something.
Miles is always horny and thinks with his dick.
RJ's parents "change" if only they get flanderized into becoming stupider and stupider as every episode goes by. They went from swinging horny imbeciles to just imbeciles.
Max is just always that annoying cunt douche bully you see in high school movies, except this is a tv show so instead of being a cunt douche for 2 hours he's the same guy for two seasons. It would actually be interesting to see some character growth out of him of all the characters.
Jenny and specifically her relationship to RJ is ridiculous. First it plays like a straight up nerd likes the beauty queen movie like we've seen a million times before, and then when he gets her, he's like, meh, she doesn't like the same music or video games as me, boo hoo. Oh no she gets zits and freaks out, whats her deal. I think I'm going to break up with her. I know the writers were trying to go for "sometimes what you want isn't what you need" theme there, but it was played so clumsily, so unrealistically it was something I was grumping about with my roomate the whole rest of the 2nd season. Especially since the whole first season was setting this up. I'm not saying they should have lived happily ever after, and they only had 12 episodes a season, but for fucks sake, it was bonkers how quick that relationship lasted.
And then hooking up with Amy was even more ridiculous. Amy being one of those "I'm such a nerd but i'm hot and cool so I'm not really a nerd but I REALLY AM a nerd!" is so annoying, but then it just drops off the face of the earth as soon as they hook up. Oh Look I got Glasses and my parents are divorced and I wear a dull green army jacket because I saw an episode of Freaks and Geeks.
The only person with any growth at all was Lilly, the show should have been about her. I don't care who RJ is trying to fuck or miserably failing trying to fuck, Lilly was the only person interesting at all in the entire cast.
