The Harder They Fall (Idris Elba, Regina King) trailer...

Idra Elba is box office poison.I have no idea why Hollywood keeps offering him roles.

Django Unleashed, but stupider and with 600% more black cowboys. Meh.

A typical soulless Hollywood woke production, it will be forgotten in a week.

Saw the title and thought it was a remake of the old boxing movie which would have been cool. Anyway, I'm always up for a western. It looks fun. It has a good cast. It's on Netflix so no reason not to give it a watch. Plus we'll get to watch dumb fuckheads crying about it being woke because it's got an all black cast

Contrary to popular belief, there were actually a lot of black cowboys and black people in the old west.

Pfft, I'm talking about the actual scenes, especially the train scene with a bunch of white soldiers looking scared and useless and being held up by only two train robbers.

It looks stupid and with the typical woke agenda of "minority = great and invincible, white = stupid and evil".

You can write your silly fanfiction where curiously every cowboy is black. It's stupid but whatever, it can happen. But at least remember to make a good movie.

Not to mention that it looks like cosplay. There's no dust on their clothes yet they live in the desert.

The revenant, Django, 3 10 to Yuma, etc all look legit because they look lived-in.

The new magnificent 7 had the same problem to me.

So you don't see this as just the filmmakers making a movie THEY want to see like how James Gunn makes the movies HE wants to see? You see "woke" when it's a majority black cast... Right? Because that's what I'm getting from you here.

The whiter they are...?

I'll watch pretty much anything with Idris Elba, so may need to check this one out.

Yeah, my first thought was that their fresh haircuts and trimmed beards looked kind of out of place.

Then pretty much any modern western is cosplay because NONE of them look disheveled... They're all clean cut with white perfect teeth.

Edit: when I say clean cut, I mean trimmed beards, mustaches, etc.

Even though barbers existed back then.

It was actually impressive how much information this trailer managed to convey, the scenes conveyed in them look ridiculous, as I mentioned before, the minority characters are all badass and the evil white people are incompetent and stupid. This is one of the easiest ways to identify a woke movie, if it looks cheap and badly made and that it expects plaudits and pats in the back because of the colour of the skin of the characters, what they like to put inside their ass or what imaginary being they believe in.

Incompetency is one of the characteristics of wokeness anything, so yeah, this is 100% a woke movie. Not that it surprises me though, Hollywood is garbage.

Dude fuck off with your Politics - the films not even out yet

I'm discussing the movie, I don't know what else I'm supposed to talk about. :)

A little off topic, I really miss when I was a kid and "politics" meant actual politics, as in economical policies, what institutions were going to have budgets allocated, who was going to be heading which parties and so on. Really boring stuff.

Now it is just a pop culture term to describe what people like to put in their ass and whatnot.

Anyway, I said my opinion, the full movie might prove me wrong...though if this is the best stuff they had to market it, then I doubt it.

I liked the song in the trailer.

It definitely feels like a movie that got greenlit and fast tracked in 2020. Probably won't age particularly well.

Correction... It comes out Nov 3.. ugh!

Edit: Delroy Lindo plays a real life historical figure in the movie. Can't wait!
