it bothers me that I watch it not to root for people to win but because I need to watch certain people lose.

somehow watching someone lose a DOTA game is the most satisfying thing, because it's never graceful or inspirational. It's like watching someone's life slowly fall apart, or if drowning was comedic instead of horrifying.
