Horseticuffs
Full werewolf off the buckle
The earbuds I used were the stock pair that come with the phone. Actually, they are my wife's, as mine died a few months back. I know they're not the best, but I've never had my phone completely wonk out on me like that before. Having the phone randomly go into voice control mode made me think that it wasn't the earbuds to blame. I really have no idea. I'll try it out again tonight though.
The new update is nice, but I agree, I still wish they would do just a bit more to service the serious runners. Although to be fair, I haven't checked out that zombielink thing and I don't know what kind of info they post on there. It should be available in-app though. But at least we know the developers are trying to make it better. You say there are new seasons coming? I had no idea. That's really great news!
I also scared the shit out of some poor woman on a bike last night. I was stopped at a red light when a zombie horde was detected. I couldn't wait for the light so I turned around and started sprinting the way I came and there was a woman right behind me who seemed really shaken up by my erratic running patterns. Kinda funny though. She actually startled me a bit, too.
I am SO jealous. iPod Touch users don't ever get the zombie hordes because it, too, uses GPS. I mean, there is literally NO reason the accelerometer couldn't at least cover that that I can think of.
It really is an amazing app. Like 4 days after I bought it I saw it went like 80% off for the Labor day weekend, but I'm not even mad. It's totally worth the $8 and I'm glad to support them. I just can't wait for more content, and I'm not one who typically buys iAP.
