What the hell, why is Run Roo Run so fun? :| I feel bad that I didn't buy it when it wasn't free. I can't stop playing it, but it's so simple!

Yeah, it's really fun. I have a feeling that's how the Super Meat Boy iOS game will play, only much more difficult.

I'd like more difficulty on the normal levels, but the extreme levels are perfect. You need pretty close to dead nuts execution to complete some of the levels, where others are just finicky fun. I'd be OK with more.

Ah, I forgot how easy the normal levels were, haha. Whenever I think of that game I'm focused on those extreme levels. I'd love if more were added.

Am I the only one who dislikes buttons that take you straight out of the game with no warning? They should be forced to warn you that you're being taken elsewhere.

Yeah, it's proof positive that sometimes the best ideas are simple ideas. I think I've played every game they've had published, and this is easily my favorite one. Funny how they can go as far out there in scope as something like Scribblenauts, but it takes a game where all you do is tap to get it right (in my opinion).

Run Roo Run: Uninstalled, reinstalled, redone chapter 1, still no achievement, fuck it.
Like I said no achievement would have not posed a single problem to me, but the feeling that there is something wrong here strangely annoy me.

And also the fact that after a google search I do not seem to find other users experimenting this. I already have an Ipad 'obsolete shit' first version, now I have voodoo games.

Do I need to pay the 69p for Phoenix HD for it to save my high scores? Still really getting to grips with it, but each time I complete a game it resets the high score.

So I only have the first iPad, and never really used it for games. However, I've recently been feeling that despite having all the consoles/portables + PC, I feel like ignoring iOS gaming is probably a mistake... so should I just stick with ye olde iPad, get the latest one, or wait for a new model of the iPad? I'm sorta leaning towards getting the new one, but it'd suck if Apple announced a new more powerful model right when I bought it =/.

Word is that the current best iPad is having a revision soon, wait it out for that first.

The next full size iPad won't be announced until at least March 2013. A smaller sized one (between the size of an iPhone and iPad) is rumored, and could be announced before that, but nobody knows.

Wait for iPad Mini announcement next month - apparently iPad 3 will be retooled to make it thinner or something too.

Virtually nothing designed for iPad these days runs well (or at all) on the first iPad due to how little RAM it has. It's also the only Apple device released within the last 2-3 years that isn't getting iOS 6. If you're serious about gaming on the iPad, you're definitely going to have to get a new one.

New (10") iPads have come out at the same time every year like clockwork in either March or April, so I'd expect at least an incremental upgrade that time next year. There's rumors a smaller (7") iPad might hit within the next month or two, but we won't know for sure until Apple actually comes out and says something about it.

Alright then, I guess I'll just wait till March / April or see how good that rumored iPad mini is then, thanks guys!

Well... this was about the time I purchased my iPad 2 16GB last year - I got it new for $50 below list price at Micro Center. I ended up selling it off and getting an iPad 3rd gen 32GB at launch, partly for the screen improvement but mainly because 16GB is simply not enough space and I was in danger of running out only five months into ownership. I sold it for about $150 less than I purchased it for (making the total cost of ownership about $30/mo) the day before my new iPad arrived, and I haven't had any regrets.

... besides TWEWY pushing me into the single digits of free space again.

Yes you need to pay to unlock leaderboards. Thanks for reminding me about this game, know if they've added anything recently?

Super cute love stuff like this, spread that branding
Also really been enjoying extinction squad good for pick up and play

Ok stupid me, I sould have thought of that long ago. I don't know if I'm an isolated case or not but the problem with Run Roo Run is specific to my iPad 1, works like a charm on iPhone 4. Still, uhhh...

Well it's a good opportunity to see what a retina screen would add for me.

Sweet, going to print a couple of those and put them at my mom's desk, she loves the game (I probably mention this whenever I talk about Monster Flip but I just really love that she loves it).

Once you go retina going back to a non retina display just isn't an option. The new iPads screen is incredible.

Cool. We are getting some done up for some of our other games as well.

Don't stick with iPad 1, iOS 6 will not support it. You might want to wait a little.

Ehh I doubt most games (that aren't 3D showcases) will require iOS6 in the short term.. he can wait it out till iPad 4 (though even Super Hexagon is a bit laggy on my original iPad, which makes me sad).

I only found out about it a few days ago. All I see are four ships and the leaderboard unlock, so no idea if there's any new content.

Ok, so I've watched the trailer for Super Hexagon and have no idea what the game is about. Is it a puzzle game? Do I just need to buy it and try it? Seems to be getting a lot of GAF love.

You play as a tiny triangle orbiting a hexagonal planet. Giant barriers crash into the planet's six sides, so you need to zip left or right to hide in the safe areas.

That's the basics, but soon you'll be attacked by giant rings that will hit 5 of the 6 sides, barriers that jump and morph, and sometimes your planet turns into a square or a pentagon.

It's extremely fast paced, so you'll need sharp reflexes to survive. But there's also an aspect of pattern recognition as you'll learn that certain barriers may always come in pairs, or are always followed by something else.

Magic Duels of Planeswalker 2013 Ravnica expansion coming out in Sept 19

I sighed reading this. The game is fun overall but I'll never shake the fact that there is so much potential wasted.

- Bad gameplay in the series overall (GIVE THE LICENSE TO PLAYDEK)
- Give us all of the cards in the block and I'll gladly pay you $60 for a full price retail
- Let us deck build.

I still have the game installed on my iPad but I never play it since the port is so slow and limited.

I wish the ipad 3 had the A6 in it, the A5X is not cutting it and it's kind of pissing me off a bit when retina games suffer because of it. Maybe this rumored revised model will have it, i'd sell and rebuy just for that.

What games? I haven't really had any problems

All regular and extreme missions gold stared in Run Roo Run - just finished the Week 8 bonus levels. I'm going to be so sad when I finish this game. :(

Although I feel describing it as an Endless Runner does it a massive disservice, that is effectively what it is.

Last time I watched my daughters my 9-year old flipped the FUCK out at Run, Roo, Run. She played for two hours and almost beat all the easy levels! I let her stay up an extra hour past her bedtime and she was still begging for more time with it.

She's a huge Scribblenauts fan, too. Both awesome games and I would not mind if Meat Boy was like this, either.

Hell, one of the first games she ever played was the original Flash Meat Boy. We all had a good laugh when she was standing besides me when I beat Meat Boy. That ending was HILARIOUSLY innappropriate for kids.

I've never played SMB. I'd hope that game's ending is just as awful in a great way.
