If you're talking PC only, you could just move the apps out of the iTunes folder so it doesn't know they're there, I guess. Why not just update them, though, or delete them? Either you're going to use them at some point so they might as well be updated, or you're not going to use them and so you may as well delete them.

If I choose the "hide" option in the App Store "purchased" tab do they stop appearing from my update list?
Honestly, everything to do with iTunes is a complete mess.

Besides Carmageddon, Sonic Jump is also coming this week.

And I did a little quick design with HTML, CSS, a tiny bit of JavaScript and PHP:

Though it's not really anything I'm gonna publish, for now I'm looking at the suggested names.
I like that layout.

Looking good so far, fellow Dane. If you do decide to publish it, promise me you'll review my game, Count Purple, as soon as it's been released ;)

Avengers Initiative is on sale for 2.99$ not the best of games I've heard, but I might bite for that price

The graphics on the character models are really good, the backgrounds are really bland and you can only play as the Hulk right now. It's not as good as Infinity Blade or Batman in terms of gameplay or depth. If you are a fan it's worth it for the price. Plus the Captain America expansion is coming soon and I think it's going to be free.

So I just played the first 30 mins of the Bard's Tale. Firstly, very funny game. That song about beer was awesome. BUT, fuck the controls on this game. Not only did the airhead devs go for bottom screen controls, they put them about as far down as they can go. Fuuuuuck, I have wrist ache already from holding the pad. Eventually put it on a cushion but it's not optimal at all. Not happy. Also the game is ugly as sin.

I'll give it an hour or two to see if my wrists will strengthen but rut now I'm feeling that I not only wasted £1.49 (oh noes) but more importantly I'm wasting 1.3gigs of space on my iPad.

Hmm...well, I've been playing it on my phone, and though the controls are tiny, it hasn't been much of an issue. I'm loving it.

I thought I had the Simpsons Tapped Out bug, but it was just a glitch with the Origin login. Once I could log in everything was back.

Surprisingly, it cloud syncs Springfield between my iPad and phone perfectly.

Rayman Jungle Run iPhone 5 update is out. Holy shiiiit!

Edit: AND BY GOD IT'S GORGEOUS!

Yeah, looks great.

Carmageddon downloading now, and it's free!
And it's awesome. It's the perfect thing to build hype for the full game. Amazing port job (though I played it without sound, so that could be terrible... but I doubt it). Controls brilliantly (just like with OG PC keyboard) and the graphic updates are *just* enough to not take away from the game. Looks way better than, say, the 3DFX version which always came off as being a little bare.

No in-car, but the in-car on the original was kinda shitty anyway. Plus, we have bonnet cam (minus the bonnet).

It is kind of, but I can see it as being a great zen-type game. Well, zen until you unleash the carnivores on the springy, bouncey, kangaroo-like herbivores.

It's like Populous, but with less of a point and more of just a fuckaround. I like it already, and that's without any of the stuff to be implemented in the future.

Can anyone vouch for the $5 pricetag on
Ravenmark Scourge of Estellion?
Does it come with all the campaigns now?
I tried the demo of this a while back and was kinda meh. But I'm in the mood for some Fire Emblemesque turn based strategy games.

Yes, we made the decision to switch away from selling new campaigns by IAP, and so when the next campaign update hits towards the end of October, we're increasing the price of the app to reflect the added value.

So right now would be a good time to get Ravenmark; the coming update will basically give you the new campaigns for free if you already own the game.

There's still one last campaign under development - we're looking to deliver that by Christmas. Then you can definitively say you have all the campaigns :)

I suppose I should delete them. I have this habit of wanting anything I bought to be ready right there if ever I want to use it. Also seeing and tracking what I already purchased. Oh well...

Can anyone recommend some deeper iPad experiences? Pick up and play games are nice, but lately I've been feeling like getting into something with more story/adventure/atmosphere. More like a console experience but something I can play on my iPad in bed.

Can't wait till the Phoenix Wright iOS pack gets released...

I remember trying to play Carmageddon Pc Gamer demo in my school library. Now i can play it on my phone

It's weird, isn't it?

Things like this constantly blow my mind. Remember how long it took to load email back on a 14.4 modem? Yeah, that's instant now in the palm of my hand no matter where I am. Remember when video calls were something you only saw in sci-fi movies? Well, now my mom can, and does place video calls to me. Remember having to look things up in an encyclopedia?

Bastion

When is someone going to release a good top-down Zelda clone on iOS?

Cool Pizza is pretty awesome, I feel like it'd play better on a phone though, trying to tilt with one hand and swipe with the other is cumbersome on an iPad, especially in portrait.

Incoboto. It's an absolute travesty this game isn't recommended more often.

Kind of fun in a, terrible controls and will delete it after two minutes, kind of way.
Liar. I would've paid $5 and be happy to do so. The controls are better than I could've imagine (doesn't feel any different to it's PC grandaddy) and it retains perfectly the aesthetic and atmosphere of the original.

It's strange, but I've been looking for Bastion for days in the app store. The only things that seem to come up are a Bastion Hotels app and AHMB Mobile.

Did they take the game off the store?
It's still on the App Store.

It's also iPad exclusive mind you. :)

Cool Pizza is really dull :( Rather spend 69p and have the developers actually put some incentives into the game. Fantastic art style let down by no game. Plus, tilt to move only? GTFO
