Dynamite Shikoku
Congratulations, you really deserve it!
Im really liking Cordy Sky. Its a pinbally vertical platformer/endless runner, with five different stages. Looks pretty nice on new ipad. And its free!
Okay, the AI in New Star Soccer is now SO much better, for everyone who was complaining before.![]()
Has anyone tried Food Fight? It doesn't seem to have gotten any attention but seems like a pretty fun high-polish light card game. Really like the art.

The app itself is pretty awesome (I love the art, there's a fair amount of single player content, and it's got all the multiplayer stuff that Ascension has). The actual gameplay is really boring though and not all that suited to asynch play imo.
It's glorified War with nice art.
The devs are awesome though, bring on Nightfall!
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is up for free. Sorry if old.
Bard's Tale is great. If I knew this back in the PS2 days I would've played the game already.
Best RPG on the AppStore. Not that the bar is very high, but still. It's a steal for $2. Already spent more time with it than with Chaos Rings 2, which costs 10 times more.
Can anyone recommend a good breakout-style game to play on iPad? Price doesn't matter. Thanks GAF!
Are there some good History/Medieval-related boardgames or turn-based strategy games out there? Not battles, more like diplomacy? I'm thinking Europa Universalis-ish. Aything? Board-games with that setting would work perfectly fine too :x
Fireball SE is soooo good. I'm not even into high score chasing games, but this one is really addictive. Gameplay is super satisfying and the controls are perfect.
Thank you for mentioning this! It's basically a good controlling version of geometry wars pacifism mode! I love it
MDavis360 posted some codes for W.E.L.D.E.R. from Starbucks' App Pick of the Week a number of pages back. If it weren't his post, I would have never known Starbucks had these. I knew Starbucks had free songs and I didn't care too much for them so I never bothered to ask or actively look in my local Starbucks for anything else other than buying my drink and then leaving.
I grabbed a few of these cards. If you want a code, PM me. For those that have access to Starbucks, please be fair and let someone else grab 'em. You can request one or all three if they're available.

8x Snapseed
4x PBS Kids WordGirl: Thorn in the Sidekick/Crime Takes a Holiday (TV episode, Vol.2 Ep. 5)
3x W.E.L.D.E.R.
lol I can't believe Dash was banned again this quickly.Anyone knows if this time it's a perma? I hope not.
I would like to see more games like that on iOS as well. King of Dragon Pass is not exactly what you're looking for, but it might be worth checking out anyways:

Then there's the Koei games Romance of the Three Kingdoms 1+2 and Nobunaga's Ambition, but I suspect they are more focused on battles and not diplomacy, though I haven't played them. They're also quite expensive, but the first Romance game is on sale at the moment.
Civilization Revolution has a little diplomacy(and a lotta battles), but you probably already knew about that.
Carcassonne maybe? A stretch I know..
W.E.L.D.E.R. is great.
Hmmm, I might have to jump on this, it looks great, and the Wired review makes it sound pretty decent.
Check my last post Astro! Are Forbidden Island and Ghost Stories worth grabbing?
another rec for Fireball SE
this is mind meltingly good.
there's a pretty big update and new IAP coming for Elder Sign

It really is. But as with every virtual stick game I've played, it can really use pad support.
I usually find board games boring, but this caught my eye before, does it feel role playish, more involving than moving pawns and managing resources, that may as well be nondescript? Worth the price? What does the iap do?there's a pretty big update and new IAP coming for Elder Sign

Fireball SE sales:

TouchArcades review is clearly visible on the 21st. The next day the price increased to $1.99, so sales dropped a lot.

Game out on a Friday night
Based on a popular IP
By someone I don't recognize
Questionable screenshots
Yup, smells like a scam app.

Kings of Dragons Pass is more fantasy than history though :/ and I already own Civ, that's the game most like what I'm looking for I think... Like I said, Europa Universalis or Hearts of Iron in mind, or even the campaign part of the Total War series (i'm so looking forward to that port, is there any news?)
Just looked at the Koei games, they look interesting! I'd definitely get them if it weren't for the OMGWAT pricetag :/
Edit: total war is coming April 19th, but seems to be mostly about battles and less campaign too, dang. LOVED the campagin in empire, exactly what I'm looking for :x
Apple should ban that kind of developer from the store.
Even if they take out the application after people (or copyright holders) complains, he already made his money during those days that the game was on the store.
If they were banned and then forced to create another dev account and pay another 100$ to upload apps, we probably will save most of those scam apps.
I know this has been asked just recently, but I can't seem to find it...

Caylus, perhaps. Regardless if it meets all of your needs it's a fantastic game in its own right.
its not that they don't want to, but how they police it... there's so many scam apps in the app store that perhaps they think its easier to just feature the most important apps and let all other apps die... there's too many brands, trademarks, celebrities worldwide to police it.
