Last of the Mohicans is one of the most beautiful films ever made. It sets in stone Daniel Day-Lewis' current status as one of the greatest actors of all time. An absolutely spectacular score, unparalleled cinematography and a cast that seems to put their heart into it as if they would not live a day longer. What an amazing film. Wish it never ended.

AM I RITE?!?!

Yeah, the action rocked. Lots of cool fights. I really REALLY love the

scene where Hawkeye shoots Duncan in the fire to alleviate his pain.

Great movie I remember seeing this in middleschool. The ending was somewhat tragic when the chiefs son die's and his gf jumps off the cliff with him. The scalpings were fun to watch.

So loved this movie. I still laugh everytime I think of what my friend said when we left. Man movies are too violent, that was too violent. This after he dragged me to steven siegal and van dame flicks. Hello the movie mad you feel that way intentional.

I mostly like it for the musical score and the cinematography. The actual story didn't interest me that much. Movies about colonial wars and things like that rarely do though. I enjoyed The Mission a lot more, which has a somewhat similar premise.

Spoil the movie? Geeze i thought everyone would have seen this by now. Sorry if I did though.

I actually had to study this movie for one of my grade 11 classes years ago and look at how historically accurate it was :p

The part where they zoom in on Monroe's face while Magwa (sp?) is cutting out his heart still makes me look away. :\

I watch it in Social Studies 10. I have a fond memory I'd like to share.

During one of the sex scenes, my teacher had to hold up a binder to the TV to block it out because he didn't exactly have permission to show the movie in school. And during the full-on sex scene, he disappeared for at least 10 minutes after, and he looked laid back and relaxed after he returned. We think he wanked it off because he was looking at the scene behind the binder and the whole class was all "Aww, come on!" We all had a GOOD laugh at that.
