Anyone familiar with the game will know I’m 2+ hours in.

This game. Bought it on launch on my PS4. Booted it up. Played it for an hour or so. Felt good. Then…

Well ya know how it works. Never touched it against. No reason. Just what it was

Fast forward to now. Same game on a handheld. I’m not DF and not doing graphs on how AA is or anything

It runs fantastic frankly. Looks amazing. It’s on a small screen, so I’m sure if we blew it up on some 65” OLED, my opinion may change

It’s extremely stable. No frame pacing issues. None. It’s genuinely not a bad story. Yeah we ABSOLUTELY know Ellie is a vagina lover. But it’s not forced down my throat. It’s merely part of the story. No issues on that.

What say you all?

Anyone else tried on the Deck? Genuinely surprised how well it runs

Based solely on my experience. It’s true. Runs like butter. Haven’t tweaked a single setting. Not one.

Weird how you bring that up then if it's completely irrelevant to the story. Why not just leave it out of the post then and go on about the game as usual?

Well. Playing as I type. Ellie is was blinking during my photo. So ya know. She kinda looking drunk. But she good here. We just tryna find a power source is all.

Again. Not tweaked a thing. No FSR 3.1 or nothing.

I’m on out of the box settings. If it felt bad. I’d tweak it. But it’s feeling good. So I’ll leave it alone

I’m not DF or some graphics guru. But just in general. This is in par with what I recall playing 5 years ago. Just on a handheld now. I’m happy

My main issue with some game is frame pacing. I’ve seen 0 issues here on that. Genuinely having a blast. fantastic story and such as well so far.

And again. Not some guru who cares about every detail and frame rate. Not obsessed over it.

Basically. If a game like Last of us II interests you and you’re on a Deck. I say have no fear. Runs like a dream.

Couldn't stand this game. So goddamn boring. Also Dinah's face is extremely unappealing to look at with her huge nose.

The gameplay is great. Part 2 is the only game that has gameplay that reminds me of MGSV.

that's the point.
The game is supposed to hurt you. Cause mixed and negative emotions.
But the point being, you are supposed to CONTINUE playing and let it f with you

Slow down guy. I was reliably informed that TLOU2 is a botched port because the 5090 gets 148fps at native 4k and GPU math states that it should get 172fps at native 4k.
