PS4 version does NOT come with the weapons, perks, and hats UNLESS you already bought them on PS3, whether separately or as part of the Season Pass.

They specifically mention it carrying over if you have purchased for PS3 instead of just lumping it in the paragraph that lists all the included DLC in the PS4 version so I'm pretty sure it won't be included for free.So they are going to make you buy the new weapons/skills they just came out with? Sad
EDIT: Well I am not sure how it reads, it could be included it could not be. The way it is written makes me think they want you to buy it on the PS3 to have it carry over to PS4.
May be obvious but don't forget you have to buy the DLC from the same store region you bought the main game from.awesome. so I can still play with my British mates online on my UK main account, despite buying the game on a secondary USA account. Sweeeet!
Segregated, they said stats wouldn't carry over.
How about trophies?
How about trophies?
Agreed. This will very special for first-time players.
No idea there, but I can't think of a game with 2 different names (PS4 version has "Remastered" in its name) that have shared trophies. How about trophies?

Well, the weapons and perks are available to everyone. It's just that they are only accessible via preset loadouts.Still buying the game, but this is very discouraging.
Half-tempted to believe that this was a login mistake
Now, who could it be?

Essentially, you're buying access to put them in your custom loadouts.
I'm going to backup this post when I'm finished, if none of us make it, at least there will be some kind of record. The hype has been hitting us hard for more than 48 days now, and we still have nothing to go on.
One other thing, I think it posts through alternate accounts when it wants to stay hidden. Hawk2025 found a post accidentally posted by THE insider, but he never posted again afterwords. What was he doing here? He hasn't been seen sense January, yet he posts on a PS4 thread? He could be anybody... nobody trusts anybody now, and we're all very tired from the hype.
There's nothing else I can do, but just wait.
I have a hunch that (Using Uncharted 3 as precedent) they are planning to launch a F2P client and they are planning to sell boosters and hats to people playing F2P.I hear you, just seems weird to me. You are including everything in the game except these few things. The hats are whatever to me, not sure why they are holding these back though.

I am looking forward to this. I missed out the first time around, and I hope for a very special experience for first-time players.

The texture work overall was a big weak point of the visuals for me. Lots of variation but low res and cardboard looking.i wonder if they bother replacing the leaves on the game, they were the worst looking part of the game IMO, just an ugly flat texture, hopefully it got a nice treatment similar to TRE, the forest on that game looked awesome on the DE
As someone who is still playing multiplayer, let me just say that the purchasable perks and weapons do not make the game unbalanced. They're perfectly balanced, especially with the 13point system in place for loadouts. Anyone with a base game loadout can defeat someone with a dlc load out. There's nothing to worry about.
My Brother In Law was watching me play the game, and was upset when I played through the part of the game.
"What the hell, where was the big guy. I saw him when I watched PewDiePie play the game, I wanted to see him scare you!"
Huh.
Yup, the pacing is still regulated to WHO it is you're playing and how they choose to play. I've seen some very aggressive rush down tactics by squads of 4, and some squads that literally don't move at all. I've boughten some perks and weapons, but I only regularly use 2 perks that fit my play style anyways, and I'm sure that's true for most other people. The dlc perks and weapons were designed for various playstyles, as in not all of them favor snipers, so you'd have to be playing differently all the time to utilize them. I bought two weapons, the enforcer(the pistol you mentioned) and a assault rifle which I quickly learned ate up too much ammo to be used as a main weapon for my playstyle. The enforcer, as you said, sits in between the 9mm and revolver, and I switch between the enforcer and revolver all the time. Sometimes it's nice having the extra range and rate of fire from the enforcer, but sometimes you just need that extra power that the revolver has. It's completely situational and naturally, you can only predict by so much which gun is going to serve your needs better when selecting your class. Like I said, every gun and perk has its advantages, but the point system keeps everyone and every item in check from becoming too powerful. The game is still really well balanced. That sounds good. So the pace has generally stayed the same? Are the weapons and skills worth buying if I'm someone who really enjoys the multiplayer? I liked the look of that one pistol in particular, as I was actually wanting a pistol that was an in-between of the 9mm and revolver. Some of the skills seemed a little worrying from what little I saw, especially the move quicker while walked and crouched or whatever it is.

I agree with the sole exception of the Bomb Expert (LVL 3) perk. That thing is ridiculous.

I believe they are still targeting 60fpsAny news regarding the fps? Did they make the 60fps cutoff or are they still "targeting" it.

Neil Druckmann @Neil_Druckmann
@bruce_straley: I had a dream in 60fps last night. #TLOUremastered what if I told you that was no dream? #believe
Nah.
It's so situational that it isn't worth the 5 points
But just because you craft bombs often, that doesn't necessarily mean the other team is constantly going to be in your face when you finally have a bomb ready to throw. I have had more than a fair share of long range shootouts on Lakeside and Bill's Town to know that sometimes throwabales are completely useless, or are simply used as deterrents to push back the enemy team and the front line. It's still a very situational perk, but it does come in handy more than any other perk... but I wouldn't consider it unbalanced. At this point I've A) used it enough myself and B) played against it enough to see otherwise--based on my own experience of course.
Considering throwables practically dictate TLOU's MP, I must ask why you believe Bomb Expert is situational? How often do you go through a match where you aren't throwing numerous smokes and bombs? Exactly. Technically you could say that First Aid Training 1 is "situational" as well, but everyone knows its usefulness in general play is invaluable. I would argue that Bomb Expert is no more situational than First Aid Training 1, albeit as an offensive perk rather as opposed to defensive.
It's a real shame there isn't a perk that offered various degrees of protection against throwables.
This seems entirely disingenuous. "Remastered"? That assumes they are going back and working on their source material to enhance it, when in reality, with how relatively new the game is and with them knowing the PS4 was on its way, this is just more tweaking of the original code that was already better than what was on the PS3. The only reason it's not out and running flawless on a PC is because of the game being a Sony exclusive.

They knew it would sell bucketloads, so they decided to release it on the PS3 as well as the already planned PS4 (original) version. All the blurbs about "I can't believe how smooth it is at 60fps", "I can't go back to sub 60fps" and "I dream of 60fps" are ridiculous. People actually believe that shit? Like ND didn't know the difference between 120fps and sub 60fps until now?
Right...
