Anyone know if the Survivor+ trick still works? The one where you don't need to play survivor through completely to access survivor+.
Supposedly it does.

So is it possible to fully upgrade Joel and his weapons on Survivor/Survivor+? Or are there not enough upgrade items?
I'm pretty sure parts and supplements are always in the same place, no matter the difficulty.Nope. Just not possible.
Nah. That's just how TLoU rolls.

Good to know because I was getting worried here, I have nothing yet lol.
This game is pushing me towards 60fps snobbery.
I thought he was referring to a Survivor run followed by a Survivor+ run. You can do it in two. I did on PS3.They are, but you can't max out all of your shit in one playthrough.
And the gear and vitamin amounts slightly vary between difficulties.

Like 30 seconds. If that.
You sure you don't have the PS3 version in there?
Huh, fuck that. What does the installed GB say for your system? The back of the box states 50 but mine only installed 45GB... that must be it right?
Mine have been longer than I would like too. Disappointing because I hated the PS3 loading.
I normally go pour a beer during this time, so I guess it's a win?
I think I finished my first playthrough on PS3 with just two trophies... Pretty crazy.
It's always a win when beer is involved.
The basement section is still terrifying even on my 4th playthrough, especially on Grounded. My poor heart :/

Oh, quick question: How long is the loading screen for you guys? Easily 2-3 minutes for me.
That glitch is the one where it lets you play through New Game+ in a higher difficulty and still get the trophies right? Does this glitch work exactly the same in TLoUR on PS4 as it worked on the PS3 original?
I know Naughty Dog loves mass murdering protagonists, but I don't know what's more depressing: an army of dudes actively trying to kill a 14yo girl or that they're failing at doing so.Also Ellie's hearing ability sucks, right? Can't detect anyone. I stopped enjoying playing as her when stealth knifing enemies just took too long and made too much noise.
~30 seconds
The beginning of the plant on grounded almost drove me crazy.
You've barely scratched the surface to be fair.
The hearing mechanic shouldn't even exist in the first place, this post confuses me.
Exactly, I never used it, game is perfectly playable without it and I had no idea Ellie was also capable of using Listen Mode, I thought it was exclusive to Joel. The hearing mechanic shouldn't even exist in the first place, this post confuses me.
Welcome! There is plenty of room! PC gamers have been here for years!
Hmm not true. Uncharted Golden Abyss for Vita launched in 2012. That's North's latest Drake portrayal as of now.
So I just got todo I still have a long way to go?! Please say yes!pittsburgh
Oh jesus, on Grounded mode it doesn't checkpoint after you start the generator. ;-;
It doesn't really checkpoint much at all. So prepare yourself. Grounded mode is a blast though. After beating survivor+ I thought I had pretty much mastered the single player. Just at the end of winter now and having a pretty damn good time.
This is the game The Walking Dead should have been.
Just getting to...gotta say - not impressed with story yet.bills
Setting the rgb to limited has done wonders for the image. Dark areas look like they should now. Thanks again whoever pointed that out.
Did you have it on automatic before? Maybe I should try doing so as well.
I still think you did pretty good though.I think flanking around the left side of the bridge area was definitely the right strategy. I did the same thing too, along with letting my AI buddies do a lot of the work lol
But man, how you handled theenemies was pro as fuck. Aggressive stealth from beginning to end, then ending it by taking a human shield and shooting the other dude.ranch house
It was also kinda cool when you ran downstairs during the first infected encounter at. I've never seen Ellie back you up like that by shooting through the gate before. Neat!the University
Pretty entertaining stream, dude. You really know what you're doing!
I can't remember if the PS3 version was like this but, Joel's movement in this game feels wrong. He seems to be constantly colliding with invisible objects and adjusting himself if I don't move him like a tank. Right stick to point where he's going, forward on left stick to move him forward.
Collision is probably the wrong word - it seems to be something like two animations wanting playing simultaneously and Joel gets kind of "stuck" in between. Sidestepping or diagonal movement seem to cause this a lot.
Changed nothing for me. Limited, Auto, and Full all have the same results.Setting the rgb to limited has done wonders for the image. Dark areas look like they should now. Thanks again whoever pointed that out.
Bad idea. Save those for the doors.
