I need to play the first Darkness. Only played 2 and I liked it a lot. Need to play the Riddick games too.
The Darkness II was co-written by Walt Williams, the lead writer of Spec Ops: The Line, but I still prefer the first game.

Think the biggest thing this video proved was just how damn good the PS3 version looked!
Can't wait to experience the game again at 1080p/60 though, especially with my new home theater setup.

The animation looks better and smoother than I remember it - incredibly lifelike at points (look at the guard on the roof at 18:57). Does anyone know if animation has been polished in this version, or if its just the smoother framerate having a side-effect of showing off the animation a bit more? Though I thought youtube only plays at 30fps so may not be that...
Awesome. The only thing that was kinda jarring for me is how the LOD keeps switching on the dude at 43:05. It looks really weird.

thanks a bunch so he is the real deal haha. He was trying to play on grounded but was getting scrapped so switched the difficulty to normal. He seems like a real chill guy and is interacting with viewers.
I did the same thing he did at that part on my first playthrough. What an amateur!
