The Last of Us: Season 2 Final Trailer

Out of all people, you are the least I would expect this to be interesting for. How comes?

Her part of the story will be season 3

Dunno if I've seen it somewhere, but I believe they are splitting the game into 2 seasons.

Infected attacking Jackson instead of that lookout where Joel and Tommy were located in the game indicates that maybe Abby group will "infiltrate" Jackson, which would be a much better option than the one in the game.

Still, looks like a worse version of the game. Naughty Dog tem are masters of animation, camera work and etc., and Part II was their masterpiece. Scenes in the trailer that are comparable to the game ones look worse.

Depends how sensitive you are to the changes in the show, for example:

Joel now has PTSD and he breaks down crying at some point. Bill's character is changed and his town section plays out very differently.

IMO it's an OK alternate take on the game's story but ultimately not in the same league.

Amazing game. One of most emotionally impacting stories ever.
Loved the show. Better Ellie than in the first game....
 
The first season already had utter garbage pacing.... So I can just hope they're not going the way of the games where the writing quality commited complete suicide with the second.

If Nora in red lighting is already in this season, it does look like the overall structure/timeline might mirror the game.

Nope.
You might enjoy it having not played the game, it's very unfocused story wise in comparison. Eg. The game focuses more on its two main characters Joel and Ellie and also features cordyceps (zombie things) that rarely appear in the show.

I get taking the focus off Ellie given the actress they got though. 😬
 
I was a bit disappointed by the 1st season, but I'll give this one a try... I know all the story beats, but it looks like this will be improved (as opposed to dilluted in the 1st season).

I prefer TLoU 1's story by a country mile -- it hits much more.

However, when it comes to purely game mecanics, encounters, etc. I prefer TLoU 2 by a country mile.

Honestly, 2 is too long tho, 12-15 hours is enough for that kind if game (yes, I mean they should have taken out 95% of the Abby sections, and most flashbacks made it seem like going back to Seattle alone was a piece of cake).

Either way, both are great games, top of their genre.

The game is ironically better in every single way.
In fact there's are parts in the game which had great cinematography and direction and was completely changed in the series.
Which was probably Bruce Straley's influence being scrubbed where possible..
 
Looks like they aren't going to off him early on. Using all the flash back sequences etc to end it on that part for this season seems to be the goal?
 
Hope they do a dedicated episode on Isaac (Jeffrey Wright), great actor.
 
What made Abby such a good character was that she's intimidating with her size and muscles. That quick glance at the TV show's Abby feels like the girl next door. Maybe it was all the snow gear she had on.

No, it just goes to show how ridiculous Abbys build was in the game so they prob couldnt find a young girl built like atank to act.
