Really looking forward to this. BUT I hope to god they allow camera invert this time. The boneheaded decision to not allow it (and even override the 360 native settings) damn near ruined Batman 2 for us.

I'm bursting at the seams waiting for this to come out. I also hope that they allow invert y-axis this time around. It was really frustrating trying to get used to the camera controls while free-roaming Gotham City in LEGO Batman 2. I eventually got used to it, but it was a frustrating experience for a while there. I've got the 360 version and the 3DS version on pre-order at EBGames, so that means 2 Elrond mini-figs!
Also ordered 1 case of each from buy.com. Hopefully one will go through.

No wasn't a VIP just got lucky with the raffle, the first day I got one ticket and wasn't lucky, on Sunday I saw people keep clamping for more tickets and the Lego reps didn't seem to care so I ended up with 5 tickets.

Didn't even realize they were giving out tickets. I must have asked the wrong person some general question like "any exclusives left?" lol. Oh well, sounds like it was pretty slim chances anyways.

It's probably been said but the Zombies set is awesome. I couldn't find that Ghost polybag at my Target...where should I look for it? Now only to get the Haunted House.

But anyway as to not just bitch..
Since It's rocktober I really need to build my haunted house/vampyre castle. I wish I had some sort of cool toddler proof display case. I guess I'll have to clean some space in the garage and set up a sad table to look at it.

I just started getting into Lego again, and god damn these things are expensive. I have spent like $600 in the last week just buying a few sets. Although I did get my lego R2D2, and that was a nice chunk of it. Also picked up X wing and Tie Fighter, as well as the millennium falcon. Anyone else build the R2? Know how long it took you?

Just got back from the Lego store. Picked up winter cottage, 4 minifigs, pick a brick wall. I also got an imperial shuttle. The box was completely destroyed in shipping so I got 20% off with no box. Kinda sucks but I don't plan on selling it so I didn't need a box.

I think I'm gonna try and go to the Lego store this week Or next to pick up another modular set for double VIP points.
And maybe to get a few Winter Village sets.

Hmm, a couple of evenings if I recall. R2 is one of my favorite SW sets and is a permanent fixture in my home office.

Going through my huge backlog, and I just have to say the Sopwith Camel is an amazing build. If you don't already own it, I can't recommend it high enough. Note: I'm not done building it, but I just completed Book 1 and it's been fun as hell.

Yes. They are located in the Halloween section not the toy section. Mine were right beside the candy.
The Imperial Shuttle box is one of the most fragile I have seen - too many heavy pieces in too thin of a cardboard shell.

The TMNT sets look okay. Nothing amazing, but nothing terrible. I do like the color schemes though.
But I LOVE the mini figures in them. ANd the color scheme on the packaging is cool as well.

Yeah, look in the seasonal/Halloween section. I saw one randomly misplaced in the toy section and asked an employee where I could find more. He led me to the seasonal/Halloween section. They were sold out the last time I was there though.

Live within 60 miles of a store. I never get coupons in mine. This month it is for the better that I didn't get one. I should have paid off my dental bill, instead I bought a new iPhone.

I got nothing. Never got a coupon myself, as I am twelve miles from their North American headquarters, but 80 miles or so from the nearest store. Makes no sense.

None of the Targets here have the ghost polybag. Is it going to be distributed wider later or is it likely a Halloween thing?

I was in the US yesterday and stopped by a Target. I had to ask an employee, and he discovered that there were 50+ in the back room (none on the floor). I was really pleased to pick up three.

Imperial Shuttle may be a buy for me. My first priority is Tower Bridge. Since I now have the Death Star and SSD, I'm sort of trying to decide how to prioritize my purchases, ha.
The Imperial Shuttle set is just incredible. I highly recommend it. The modulars and sets like the Tower Bridge I'm desperately trying to resist. I have so little room in my apartment as is. Oh, and the money commitment.
