Should be on display, where the new-ish models are.
Edit: Yeah, obviously you'll need a VIP card. Not sure if you can just set it up during that buy though.

Also again: What's the deal with Master Builder sets?

Can I buy this in-store? Should it be on display, or do I have to ask an employee for it?

(I'm heading to the LEGO store this evening to get my li'l Hulk.)
To my knowledge it should be VIP exclusive, at least that's what is said on the UK lego site. You need only ask for it and show your VIP card.

Yes they are in Lego stores, but you need to be a VIP. They can sign you up while you are there though so no worries

If you sign up for VIP online, do they mail you a card later? Shoot, I hope it wasn't in the box. I just threw it away and didn't look at the paper inside.

If you go into a Lego store and they don't have a set in stock, they can order it for you on their website and enter a code to give you free shipping to your house.

Ugh. Some how during my washing of dirty Hogwarts bricks three pieces seem to have gone missing, including a sword that I only had the one of in that colour. ;__;

I hope they turn up otherwise I'll have to play around with Bricklink to buy a replacement.

This is some hot shit

Ended up ordering the Y-wing fighter and a Series 6 MF bag to get over the $50.00 hump. Looking forward to adding MF Hulk to my collection.

So now I have both the new X & Y wing fighter sets. Definitely going to have to buy the Tie Fighter now.

If you are going into the Lego store you can sign up for VIP during your very first transaction. So what they will do is sign you up, give you a VIP card, and on your first buy you can get your Mini Modular and your Mini-Hulk. Welcome to the club, the cuban cigars and exotic caviar are on the table to your left :)

How did you wash them?

By hand in a bowl of water. More specifically I let them soak in a soapy mixture, scrubbing them gently with a toothbrush and then transferred them to another bowl of clean water. After that I left them on a towel to dry. My fear is that despite checking the bowl thoroughly the pieces went down the drain when I poured the water out. But on the other hand these weren't the smallest of pieces so it's hard to imagine I missed them. Perhaps I somehow dropped them without realising it. THe things is I remember handling the sword.

Seeing as I can't be bothered stumbling through the French Amazon website at 8 in the morning, can anyone give me a ballpark figure for shipping to Australia with a set such as the T1 Camper?

Apparently the TRU stores over here are pricing one of the 50 dollar LOTR sets at 75...yea, pretty much why I just buy my Lego from the Lego store now, unless the other stores have sales on them.

In other news, I still have 5-6 boxed sets I still need to put together...one of these days.

Picked up the Creator series dinosaur. Very cool when put together. And of course, I must have a crossover with other sets. This also seemed like a good point to show off Tower Bridge for those that have not gotten it yet. Such an imposing piece to have on display.

Forgive the lack of captions so far.

Deadpool enjoys his day off at his home. But he has an unexpected visitor.

OH NOES! TOWER BRIDGE IS UNDER ATTACK BY A MONSTER!

Roads are dangerous...

There goes the bus...

Tower Bridge show off shots. Complete with Dino.

Dang PhoncipleBone, where do you keep all your sets? You have quite a collection! Great pics btw!

Just creative placement in the apartment. The only things I do not have a place for are the Apple Tree House and Sonic Boom.

The Star Wars sets flank the television. Imperial Shuttle on top of the equipment rack. TIE Fighter and X-Wing on each speaker. Millenium Falcon on the subwoofer. Y-Wing resting in front of the TV. I want to go get a wall mount shelf to put up behind the TV so I can either put all the modulars I get together on it, or finally convince my wife not to shoot me if I get the SSD and have that big sucker behind the TV on the wall.

Tower Bridge is hanging out on top of one of the bookcases of DVDs. I just bought a shelf and rested it on top.

My two modulars (soon to be three when Grand Emporium and Hulk Minifig arrive) are on the top shelf of the other tall DVD bookcase.

The two half plates with the mini figure riots are on the shelf with the modulars right now. I need to find new homes for them soon.

I am thinking of doing an elaborate setup of the minifigs marching down Tower Bridge. The trick will be that there are no studs. That will give me both more freedom but more trouble since I have to balance the figures properly then.

The sad (or scary) thing is that all these sets have been purchased since mid January. All the sets from my childhood are sorted and in bins in another corner of the apartment. My collection of bricks has essentially doubled or tripled with just the sets this year.

It was 23.36 euros for my X-wing. It was shipped in a box just a little bigger than itself, with some stiff brown paper to fill it out. I'm not sure how big the Camper is, but let me know if you find out for sure :)

And i just finished it tonight :D
It's so freaking awesome...and there's a satellite inside so you cannot lose :P

That thing is really tall. Awesome!

I just received some Star Wars (small) sets. I'll post some pics soon, but today was a bad photography day.... all the pics were ugly :P

Wow the sonic boom looks massive! Nice setup btw!

The Sonic Boom is massive. And only 500 or so pieces. I did find a place for it. I moved the Y-Wing to the other side of the TV. The gaps in the engines of the Y-Wing allows the Apple TV to still be visible for remotes to see it. I put the Sonic Boom on the other side at the front of the TV.

Another pic with Sonic Boom in place.

X-Wing with S-foils in attack position. Just posting this since many have asked of a simple way to display it like this. Only two monorail support beams, and a couple of 2x2 bricks on the front beam due to the height change on the ship.

Went to TRU at lunch today on the hunt for more space marines, looks like the minifigures got hit pretty hard since about a week ago. I was able to find what I think is the last two space marines they had, bringing my total to eight.

I also have a sonic boom on the way, wound up ordering from amazon uk for abour $54 shipped. Can't wait to build it, I need a Guile minifigure to be the pilot, haha.

I managed to find 6 more space marines today at the LEGO store bringing my total up to 12. I think I'm good with this number. They had a new box sitting behind the cash wrap and someone must have already gone through it cause there were two marines on top. Soon I will start taking pics of the army with different heads and masks, just havent had time lately.

So it turns out that it wasn't that hard to figure out what I was going to pick up to get that Hulk fig...

My LEGO store just got them in this morning.

Do other Lego stores seem to have the same prices as lego.com? Mine seems higher, at least all the SW stuff was noticeably higher on 5/4. Even with shipping costs, I think lego.com would be cheaper.

Thanks for all the info/advice on the mini-modular set, guys. Already a VIP member, but I ended up passing on the set. It looks just a little too "chunky" for me.

Returned from the LEGO store with the Car & Caravan set for my co-worker's daughter, and the Geonosian Cannon set for her son. Picked up Wolverine's Chopper Showdown for myself, as well as li'l Hulk. =)

My LEGO store didn't have either the Lord of the Rings or Monster Fighters sets. But I swung by Toys R Us on the way home, and they did have the Monster Fighters line. That Vampyre Castle is hawt! It will be mine . . . some day.

Those buttholes at Amazon finally put Gandalf Arrives up. $12.99. I got Shelob and Gandalf, finally. I'll have them by 2013 at the rate they're shipping stuff out to me.

The newest arrivals prompt a flurry of discussion amongst the original masters of horror.

The mad doctor compares hairstyles with the witch's broom, the zombie and frankenstein's monster share tips on "how to hold your arms out without cramping", the werewolf makes the unfortunate choice of trying to pet the mummy's scorpion, while dracula reflects inwardly, as if knowing his time on this earth may be coming to an end...

Picked up the Quinjet set and the Hulk minifig at the Lego store today, while I have two more sets arriving by mail.

Realizing that I should've bought everything at the Lego store versus ordering online was an eye-opener considering that my sales tax of 8.75% is still cheaper than shipping plus tax... Ah well... I at least have my Quinjet.

Ordered Wolverine Chopper, Gandalf Arrives, and Attack on Weathertop (price for pieces sucks on this one, but it's a lot of minifigs). I really want a Sam Minifig, but I hate that Shelob figure... Only $20, probably get it later.
