My Switch has been sitting in a UPS facility in my goddamn hometown for the last 28 hours. I winced as soon as I saw it was shipping via UPS even before the delay fiasco became known. UPS fucking sucks. They have never been helpful or even the slightest bit accommodating; once they have your package, they have you by the balls and they know it. They relish it. "Yeah, I got yous package right here *grabs dick*. Maybe I'll deliver it today, maybes I won't. Can't says I'm feelin' particularly motivated, ya know?" But hey, at least I got a free month of Prime and a $0.12 refund for my troubles.
Lol. I'm in a similar situation, but your post did make me smile.

Mine arrived to my city this morning at 1:22AM. Still won't deliver until Monday. I called and asked to pick it up. Lady says it's not here...even though it says "arrival scan" on the tracking.

Smh.

Pretty much. A few months back, when the PS4 Pro launched, the price dropped by about $60 a few weeks after the fact. I called to ask for a price adjustment, got nothing. Called, complained again, demanded the price difference, and got it pretty damn quickly.

I tried that with 3 different Amazon CSRs, and got denied all three times with the same standard "You'll need to send the system back and repurchase it."
 
Amazon order came in today.

Just got an email refunding my "shipping costs" for $8.53

I guess that's something
 
I just called an Amazon rep again and told him I should have gotten my order today if the first rep I spoke to yesterday had told me my order would be delayed instead of insisting my order would arrive yesterday. By the time I spoke to someone yesterday who admitted I wouldn't get my order, she said it was too late to change the shipping speed because my order was getting loaded onto the truck. The rep I spoke to today said they should have upgraded the shipping speed yesterday, but he said all he could offer me was $5.

I wouldn't have been so annoyed if I only got my package a day late, but the fact that I was given false information which pushed my order to a Monday delivery instead of a delivery today when my package has been 30 minutes from my location all day is really frustrating.
 
It sucks not getting it on release. But I'm looking forward to getting a huge package on monday. Well, several packages at once, to be exact.

The console, additional joy-cons, a batteryless grip, snipperclips, powerbank,a longer usb type c cable...

Well, hopefully it'll all be here on monday. I've already got Zelda.

Unfortunately my screen protector will be up to a week or so behind. Which sucks donkeyballs. I'll have to be very careful until then. Already got electrical-tape ready for protection against the dock though.

How does one know which exact UPS location your package would be in? I got hit by a UPS delay too due to a late delivery truck or something and it only arrived in my city this early morning, out to be delivered on Monday (they delivered Zelda just fine yesterday which according to tracking records, was only an hour earlier in the same places as my Switch order)

I find that most of the time when I deal with Amazon customer service, being lied to or told the wrong information is becoming common. It's a shame because a few years ago I thought the customer service was top notch.
 
So, they finally found my Zelda and it'll be here Monday.

I'm not happy, but the 50 dollar promotional credit I got from raising hell yesterday bought me 4/5 of the BoTW Amiibos, so it all works out.

I just called again after reading about people on here getting way more than $5 back. Got another $30, at least.

I never understood why my Zelda order was in limbo too. I could have gotten one day delivery on it yesterday. It made no sense to me. Switch makes since as they likely ran out and were waiting for a restock.
 
I guess I'll see what Amazon does with telling me wrong shipping dates like 3 times now. Maybe they'll be nice. I see it's coming Monday for sure but they've been doing the whole "It'll deliver today" which it won't talk.
 
Got my Zelda in the mailbox.. But the console is stuck in some mail distribution centre somewhere in my city. Lazy mailmen not working on weekends:< I keep updating the parcel tracking app to see if there been any movement and its been 2 days of disapointment:(
 
Amazon app says switch and loz delivered to my mailroom. I don't have a mail room though. Hoping it's sitting g by my front door when I'm home in two hours.
 
Ugh, still no update to tracking. I really do not get why Amazon insists on shipping pre-orders like a day before. Best Buy usually ships days before and they always arrive on time if not one day before.
 
Amazon still has my package at pending. They still haven't even shipped the damn thing. Here I take Friday off and I might not get any switch gaming done until at least Tuesday.
 
How do you "demand" or "raise hell" in order to get the discounts? Politely without insults?
Anyone outside of the US had success?
I'm afraid if I ask amazon.de, they will just say: NEIN!
 
Manage to to $50 credit when I tried to have them change payment method and refund the gift card I had used to pay for the Nintendo Switch. I also finally got someone to tell me when my order will arrive (it will be here Monday).
 
Unnnnngh.

Amazon said it MIGHT get delivered today (Saturday), so I spent the whole day opening my front door like a lost child expecting dad to take me to the park.

Dad broke his promise.

Dad never came home.
 
Mine came today despite an email saying it was pushed back to Monday. Only issue is best buy freaking shipped it to the wrong address and not the updated one, but I got it sorted.
 
Just convinced Amazon to give me 20% off my Switch order whenever it finally ships. IF it ever ships.

I'll take it.

Usually you can go to a UPS facility and get your package but you have to call UPS first and arrange it.
 
Mine is a town away but not shipping until this wednesday. (Usps)

Parcel select is 2-8 days...guess this the upgraded shipping amazon told me i was getting. Time to call them again.
 
I'm sorry this happened to you, but there's an insane amount of Switch noise on our forums already.
