you want me to name a more successful QUARTERBACK? if we are going just by that position, then i can name a few. peyton manning is, by the numbers, a more successful QB. he owns the all-time TD record and is on pace to break most of marinos records. tom brady didn't win either superbowl. i would have given MVP's to players besides him in both of their superbowl wins... possibly to vinatierri in the first SB. and dont bring up "peyton has no superbowls and brady does!" because by that logic trent dilfer > dan marino. tom brady is a product of his team, he cannot control a game on his own.
Had I said better qb then I certainly would agree with payton manning, but he is certainly not more successful. Success is determined in wins and losses, not numbers.
Of course every team plays as a team, but nobody puts the "team" first like the pats players do. Troy Brown playing DB, Seymour as a FB, Dom Davis(LB) playing Safety and the list goes on. I believe that they are more talented teams than the pats but the combination of putting the team first, and schemes of bb make it work.
give me a fucking BREAK. what about ty law? what about tom brady on the cover of espn the magazine, sports talk weekly, etc doing interviews and so on? is that not self promotion? get off your patriots high horse. and why are you dissing the NBA? the detroit pistons, NBA champs, are a lot like the patriots in that they were "a team" first.
Wow, brady is on the cover? Brady dosen't do anywhere near amount of promotions he could. Ty Law? I haven't seen shit on ty since he popped off about his contract then broke his ankle.
As for the NBA, it's a me-first league and I don't think much of it. Thankfully, the pistons broke up that shit storm of a pre-madonna laker team. Lebron is one player I respect because he is all about the team, but most nba players are all about getting theirs.
