Switch 2 needs exclusive games to move. If Nintendo isn't confident enough in their product to wean themselves off the safety tit of Switch 1, they will own themselves.

They might feel that NS2 does not yet have a sufficient install base (none) to drop Kart on. They prefer to unleash Kart to a base of clients already prepared to buy it en masse. Their launch lineup better be fucking gold with everything else, if they do that.

Thing about MK is that it'll sell all through the lifespan of the console, they wouldn't worry about install base on release. It's MK9 anyone thinking otherwise is delusional.

They do not put bezels like over a grand apple iPad. These things have to be a bit more rigorous, bezels on edge would be easy to fuck up the screen with a drop.

My guess is that it is not one of the exclusives. It is MK9 but what we are seeing is the Switch version with higher resolution and stable frame-rate. I think this is what we can expect.

I do like the look of the new console, that black with the red and blue under the analog sticks is really sexy. Very curious to see if the Joycons will act as mice, that would be really awesome. The big thing that is a bit of a bummer is that MK 9 (assuming that is what it is) doesn't really look too much different from 8, so it really could be a cross gen game. April is a hell of a fucking wait, but I am definitely excited to see more.
