Rockstar basically announced Red Dead Redemption 2 on their Twitter feed and the whole fuckin' world went crazy. You dont need E3 when you're a known brand.

When Nintendo makes its move to put the NX in presses hands it isn't going to be publicized. Before the Wii U reveal at E3. Nintendo actually flew press up to Washington to see the console. Yet no one heard about that until after E3. Press could be having hands on this week and the way Nintendo does things no one would know until Nintendo says its ok

The points in the Reddit post are just some dude's feelings, with no particular legitimacy or validity. There are a million instances in which companies didn't follow his advice and had an A+ reveal blitz.

Keep in mind Nintendo did really try to integrate mainstream features into the Wii U with TVii and using the tablet as a remote. I foresee them looking towards what is important and desired in devices today (not VR) for the NX.

a new rockstar game is one of the handful of games that would, yes.

Just food for thought, but I've noticed GamExplain hasn't touched any of the rumors that have occurred recently (Including the one that first brought up NX this week) which is weird since they usually jump on these types of things very quickly, especially the ones where Emily Rogers has commented on. It might be nothing, but I'm wondering if they might be silent because they know something and are now under NDA. Just food for thought
