i'm really disappointed that carrell had such a limited role in this episode...he was so integral to the show for so long, and at the end his presence is absolutely minimal. terrible decision.

Up until Erin met her parents I thought this finale was going to flop hard, but the rest of the show after that was great.
He got his exit, this was about everyone else.
I dunno, all of Carell's closure was finished when he left the show. His purpose in the finale was to provide the glue for the team and to balance how far Jim/Pam/Dwight had come.
