O well it would have been nice to get Hockey gold but the Americans did fucking fantastic in the olympics. Pretty much overachieved in everything and blew away all expectations.

Curious, what's it look like for the United States? I don't remember the US winning so many medals before in the Winter Olympics.

Most Hockey ive ever watched, hockey fans should know how good this was for their sport.

Proud of the boys in blue, if Canada played the US this close in Basketball im sure they would be proud of them too.

They havent. Nobody has. US just set the record for most medals ever won in a Winter Olympics.

Let's not go crazy. A few Americans will watch the sport for a couple of extra weeks.. maybe a few people will go to some NHL games.

Then the NFL draft will ramp up and no one will give a shit again.

that's not fair. They would have to have grass to practice on for that. Hockey is what resulted from their attempt at playing ice soccer back in the 20's.

and YOU seem to forget that USA had 10 more medals than the Chinese in 2008. We owned the podium there and we owned the podium here for the first time at the winter olympics! We are just dominant. America gets the most medals in BOTH olympics for the first time ever. USA FUCK YEAH! All the other countries with inferior athletes can suck our patriotic nuts!!! ( or ovaries ) We own the summer and winter olympics podium bitchez.

After that amazing game, I wonder if the idiots at the NHL are seriously not going to let their players play in Sochi 2014, like they've been threatening.

That game broke 2 hockey laws: 1) scrappy team with hot goalie always wins in OT, and 2) the best player never scores the OT winner.
