Try this version of Bumper Hogs that I played last night. The ledges have been fixed and there is a spectator platform . Some great fun times especially when the Kill Ball finally drops. I think this is a nice place where the drama can be left at the door

matters. Would be great for fun customs night:D

Looks awesome, FourDoor, I am all about that sort of stuff.
 
Man, I don't know why, but I just can't stand Assembly. The only reason I can think of is that I have issues with the many obstacles in the map interfering with the overall LoS, and whenever I hear the pressure locks on the scarab rails release, I just have to stop what I'm doing and look up. I'll probably warm up to it after a while but for now I find the layout a little annoying and I just can't play well on it.

Orbital, on the other hand, I absolutely love, which probably places me in the minority.

You still giving lessons? I can never figure out if I'm supposed to drive off the cliff before or after my passenger picks up the bomb.

Agree. I'm down for that kind of insanity any time.

I'd like to toss one poor soul in the middle with a grav hammer. See how many 'hogs he can knock off before getting spattered (set hogs and drivers to instant respawn). Rotate through, longest survivor wins.

Haha glad to see that map has made a full circle back to me! I am friends with Alkaline and a few of the guys who made that variant and actually introduced Bumper Hogs to them. I left, came back a couple hours later and that's what they had made! It's cool to see that again, here.

i also didn't like assembly at first but now that i can navigate the bottom easily and i know where all the walls and obstacles are. i am liking it a lot more
still my least favorite mythic map though
.

as for orbital place me in the same minority. i fucking love that map. the right angles and long hallways are awesome. swat works very well on that map and i imagine it would be an awesome snipers map as well.

Yea me you and trasher ran into him a few days later and I explained that he seems to be a nice guy but I have no choice but to make him my mortal enemy. He would be a member of team Frankenberry if you will.
 
Regarding customs night, how does 8pm EST Saturday sound for everyone, please let me know, I want to include as many people as possible. Before hand I will download all the new custom maps from GAF that were made on Sandbox and we can play through them.

I will be there. If there's too many people, those who made maps should get first dibs >_>

And we might have to make two groups because some maps only work well with 4v4.

Nice. Yeah I joined up mid way through their playtesting and was immediately splattered. :lol

I like the sandbox variant of bumper hogs a lot more than the original rats nest one since there are now 4 edges to fall from.
 
Did the match I played with Shishka and company when they were playing the Humpday games get featured on Game with Flame? I don't remember seeing it yet I have 8 brand new friend requests waiting for me today.

Yeah but you have to copy and paste each part of the code. After I did that (for a friend's account, I already have the map pack of course) I googled the answer to the riddle, which I got right away and it was taken. Bah! Sorry friend.
 
Why don't red and blue teams spawn on the points of the map with their respective colors on Orbital? I think it's that way for Sandbox too, but I'm not sure. I don't think it was that way the first time I tried out the playlist.

Halo DS is the 2nd biggest thing killing Halo though among the other flood of problems. IT wouldn't be too much work either, you guys don't even need to scale the resolution back.

Trying to make a BTB map. Fun fact: the skybox is approx 37 double boxes long with 4 grids per box = 148. I thinking I lost a grid in the process so 149 then I think there is half a grid at each end. So 150 grids?
