Yeah. At least by turning it off and on again. Is there another way to reboot it besides that? Like in the settings or something?Costanza said:did you try rebooting your phone?
I'm enjoying Galcon and Quantum collapse. Galcon has a flash version you can check online I believe, it is a stratagy game that is difficult to describe. Quantum Collapse is an RTS a d is alot of fun. It is supposedly getting an online multiplayer mode next update.Acid08 said:What are the best space themed games? Backup and do a restore in iTunes. Guarantee that fixes it.cooljeanius said:Yeah. At least by turning it off and on again. Is there another way to reboot it besides that? Like in the settings or something?

And if RSS isn't your thing, there's an email option too. Registration was pretty easy.
Yeah Civilization Revolutions that they made for the DS would work perfectly.Nitrousoxide said:What I want is a game like Civilization for the iPhone...
The platform is perfect for a game like that.

I recently bought Civ 4 for my PC. That game is amazing.Peronthious said:No it wouldn't. Don't say such things.
I get sucked in enough on the PC and occasionally on the DS, I don't need that temptation on something I have on my person at all times
Diablohead said:Hold on to your hair, the game is awesomeTake note that the music is now SHIT compared to pre-update music, they must have lost the rights to the tunes they were using and quickly threw together a few monkies in a barn with a keyboard to make replacements.

For D-pad, any iDevice screen is troublesome at times, when you get into it and start pressing onto the screen too much, I noticed. I have 1st gen Touch and 3GS side by side, and have played a lot of stuff on both, and I had pretty much the same experience with them.The_Reckoning said:I agree. Such an amazing game, although it has pointed out the biggest flaw of the 3GS. The oleophobic screen can be troublesome at times.

Lord Error said:Situation with the game EDGE is that it was removed again from the US store and some other stores (I still see it in the Canadian store, but I guess it's just a matter of when it disappears at this point)
Author is trying to increase the awareness of the game by asking people to download the free demo version, and leave a review for it explaining why you can't download the real thing:

I did it, and will leave a review for both full and lite version.
I agree pretty much 100%. None of my favorite games uses virtual dpad, and I also agree that Doom Resurrection was executed just the way it should have been. It actually felt good playing it, and the game was much more fun than any 3D shooter with virtual dpad I tried.
Of course, I'll be willing to make an exception if/when C64 emulator comes out![]()

I drill straight down (a tube) usually from the sides, as far down as I can until I lose visibility (re my current radar) or the engine gets uncomfortably warm. I usually make "dents" every 2 square (vertical) to be able to explore horizontally.Fusebox said:I reckon it's my most played game and I'm still drilling pretty randomly, although I've been working on making a nice clean exit pipe from 300 feet up by using the dynamite to clear the rocks.
3x3pilonv1 said:What sort of radius does the dynamite have? just one square at a time?
Yep, just remember to use the mark to flag out the "bottom", 'cause when you reach 500m down it gets a bit tough to remember where you stopped diggingFusebox said:I haven't put it in an area that wasn't already partially dug but I think it's 2x2 blocks. Worth the effort to clear a pipe, I don't keep crashing into them when I jet out of a big dig now and free-floating all the way to 300m saves fuel too.
Campaign is 4 hours for $100,000 in bank (so your purchases set you back), and there's a scenario that wants 100000 points in 15mn.Fusebox said:I'm doing the main scenario where I have to earn the guy $400,000 or so, is that in game points or game dollars?

It's not like you need 4 hours to be done. My first campaign run it "only" took me 2 hours 25 (the scenario on the other hand, I completely flubbed)Chinner said:holy crap louis
All right, I tried that, my apps still don't work. The only difference is that they're all alphabetized now. Maybe if I upgrade to 3.0 it will work?Costanza said:Backup and do a restore in iTunes. Guarantee that fixes it.
Yeah, that's what I did.Dreamwriter said:How exactly did you turn it off and on again? By rebooting, people mean hold the reset button (top corner) until the device gives you the option to turn it off with a slider, then after turning it off holding the button to turn it back on. Some people don't realize you can do that.
No I ment real racing, maybe I should go edit my original post to make it more clear, sorry.LaneDS said:Wait, they replaced the Zenonia music with shittier Zenonia music? I could barely play the game due to the music in the area outside the first town being about three seconds long and looped. Most annoying music in recent memory.
And now it's worse? I have to update immediately to hear this.
Probably, but iPhone for me is a non-hardcore platform only. If I want to play hardcore games with need for buttons I rather play the PSP. May be a matter of hand size, but longer sessions of holding the iPhone using onscreen dpad/buttons make my hands cramp.jonnybryce said:Hell no. They work fine, when done right. Assassin's Creed did it very right, as does Drop Ship, Terminator and, sorry, Castle of Magic.
On screen buttons help to bring the hardcore games.
