Still no one has played Krazy Kart Racers? I don't know which one I should get...
KKR or Crash Bandicoot. Both at 2.99
Neither one is that great, but KKR has online multiplayer and is kinda fun. Plus, Goemon is in it!

I wasn't impressed with Krazy Kart, even outside of the online play. When I did try to play online no one was on. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're desperate for a crappy kart racer for some reason.

when will we be getting back that dungeon crawler game from gameloft?

Hey guys?..

Also, I just got today a 64Gb Touch!! (I gave my old 8Gb touch to my gf to bring it with her on a trip, so I've been Touch-less for two weeks)

Okay I bought few games today:

1. Krazy Kart Racers - the control is kinda difficult, still trying to learn it. Stages are made to piss people off with traps at random place.

2. Dance Dance Revolution - very fun game, probably the best music game on iPhone/iTouch. The music are great J-Pop music, addictive gameplay.

3. Hi How Are You - surprisingly fun. The music and artwork is very good, the game is simple but fun. Reminds me of deBlob.

4. Alphabetic - I love this game. It's just a simple search the letter game, but the artstyle is great and game is very addictive.

Anyone else checked out MinMe? It's a free little puzzler that came out of the Experimental Gameplay Project, and it's pretty awesome, albeit short at only ten levels. I'd love to see the idea expanded into a full game, which the developer says he'd love to do if enough people show interest in the free version.

This is excellent, great work! It's cool to see experimental projects on the iPhone.

I'm very impressed by "Hi How Are You".. Glad I picked it up. :D
In fact, I'm not sure I've been this impressed with 3D platformer on the device yet.

Is Alive-4-Ever another one of those 'shoot for the highest score' kinda game?
I already have Minigore and iDracula and I rarely play them due to their simplicity and repetitiveness. Is this any different, does it have any progression?

it has 30 missions, a few of which are boss battles, players level up rpg style, you get cash to spend on weapons which come in all kinds of varieties, special challenges on each mission that unlock special equipment and various characters. so not high score oriented whatsoever. I would say its the best of its type on the iphone, shooting feels nice and accurate.

oh and it has 2 player local co-op which has 30 different missions.

Alive-4-Ever is the best of the ones you mentioned. There are, I think, 30 stages, and varying missions for each stage and different levels of difficulty. The controls are flawless and the graphics are pretty good. I like it a lot. There are essentially just about six missions repeated throughout the game, which is really the only downside of the game, in my opinion. It also plays out much like an RPG, though, in that you gain experience and can add stats to your character, as well as the weapons. For .99, it's absolutely worth it. I would have paid over $5 for the game.

I don't know if it's been mentioned in here but there's a cute little game called Silent Swords. You playback ninja who has to be stealthy and assasinate guards by hiding in the shadows. You assasinate them with finger swipes. It's a stealth game with a cute ninja style an the control scheme adds to the charm, you tap left or right to move in that direction and shake to jump. It's on sale now for 99 cents.

This sounds like something I need to check out. BRB. Got to grab my phone.

K.... just downloaded the daniel johnson game... very damn good. it has touch controls which I prefer over the tilt but both actually play well.. it feels less like a puzzler and more like a platformer...

I was weary about getting it but it's a steal for .99 right now.

Wow, 'Hi, How are you' is great fun, I just had to buy it after watching the trailer. Really like the music and the bizarre art :D

I'm not enjoying "Hi, how are you?" nearly as much. I think it's a slightly boring game with poor controls, and the way the music keeps looping one line of song is peculiar. Maybe it helps if you're a fan of the artist.

Really disappointed here with the controls too... :(

Just switch to joystick controls. The motion controls are terrible. The game is still pretty boring. Had a tremendous amount of charm at the start but is just repetitive. For $1 though it's worth it.

Any other games like Electric Box? I've spend more time on that game than any other on the Touch. Love Incredible Machine type games.

Speaking of Electric Box, I just finished all 60 levels last night.

I feel a little ripped off by stage 51-59, even though the update was free. I solved every one of them by alternative methods "breaking" whatever designed solution they had in mind.

I guess I might go back to those and force myself to use every single part...

And yeah, such a wicked game. I played that the most out of all my iPhone games.

Another pimp for DDR S, which has finally dropped to 99c in the US.

This is DDR for the iPhone. Awesome. You might think, "What's the point of a dancing game with fingers? - isn't that like playing DDR with the D-pad?". Well kind of. But think of it as a rhythm game - regardless of how you play it, the mechanics are sound.

This game has had several updates that has improved overall performance.

I do not regret buying this game when it was $6.99, and I would do it again if I had to.

Another game that I would probably never remove.

I just got this yesterday. I found it actually more "DDR-like" by holding the phone with one hand, and tapping with your index and middle finger, like actual legs, rather than using two thumbs.

Is that how it works? I solved a few from 1 - 50 not using all of the parts. I wasn't sure if those extra parts were red herrings or what.

Some good iPhone stuff came out of the Tokyo Game Show this weekend.

What could this be? (Hint: Capcom) :D

THREE new games from Square Enix - I think they're probably all ports of existing mobile games, but they look pretty decent.

When they can release them on the DS and make over four times as much?

They released FF7 on PSN for $10, when they could have easily charged more, so I don't buy that as the excuse. We've already seen DS > iPhone ports, SE should easily be able to churn out some classics and make some good money on games that already cleaned up on DS.

Almost finished with Hi How Are You but been strictly playing with touch controls... Im very impressed with how fun it is with touch controls... I never liked tilt controls in any game.

Alright, for those of you that do still have Dungeon Hunter, the update just went live to fix the bug. I assume this means that it'll be back up on the app store very soon.

Oh crap, now this is truly a match made in hell :lol

I'm not touching this one with a 20 foot pole!

yeah, i am sorry. I love me some Ghouls N' Ghosts but i cant barely make it through the game on my PSP. How the hell am i gonna control this game on my iPhone? If they dumb down the difficulty to work with the touch controls than it wont be Ghouls ang Ghosts anymore.

WTF Capcom? You learned nothing from Mega Man II? WTF?

Why not bring over Puzzle Fighter? or somethign else that would actually WORK on the platform?

Sliding Heroes is kinda crappy... but the other two look decent. Interesting how they don't really look like Square games - just generic JRPGs with the SquareEnix label slapped on them.

Levels 1-15 are developer created. Levels 16-60 are user created. There were definitely a few from 16-50 that you had spare parts left over, but all of the ones from 50 onward? That's a bit much... :\

Fuck yes Song Summoner was awesome on the iPod minus the controls. Now I have a reason to put music on my iPhone!

This is good. I would hate for people to miss out on this game. I've put probably a collective 3 hours into it and just reached the forge level, so plenty of content. I've been playing a warrior and have only dabbled a little in the mage and the rogue, but each class is very distinct in the play style, so they'll certainly merit another playthrough.

The story is fairly generic, but there's some amusing dialog there. The only thing that really irks me is the fairy names. Wetty? Come on...

Otherwise, really amazing game.

I think I mustve solved them by the standard methods fir the most part. I think maybe a couple I didn't use all. I had deleted this game so to play those ten I had to go back through the first 50 again. Good times. I definitely am getting my moneys worth!

Another game that is kinda different really, but the same style oflevel by level puzzle us geared. It's much more frustratig because the hard levels are pixel precision difficulty - not easy with an imprecise contil system. The puzzles don't also offer the same logic based solution most I the time, buy I mention it because I felt compelled to finish all the levels in the same vein as electric box.
