I actually used AiAi exclusively. In fact, that's the only monkey I've ever used in any of the games.

I bought Chronicles of Inotia. Its not a bad game at all. It really reminds me of a simplified version of RO. For 8 bucks I dunno if its actually worth it as I haven't got very far. Also it seems your character doesn't change much if u equip different armor or weapons. And it takes forever to buy better weapons and armor.

I think if you like games like RO you might wanna consider purchasing this but be warned there is a lot of grinding.

Seriously! It's impossible to get past level 30! A new patch came out recently and it's done nothing!

I love the game though. Really well done tower defense game. Just wish it was possible to actually play past 30.
 
Any 'I love Katamari' impressions? I couldn't play Super Monkey ball so if the tilt is as bad as that I won't bother with it. Also how smooth is it?

I just played Katamary.. absolutely horrible. Framerate is awful and the speed the game runs in is but a fraction of the PS2/360 games. It's like you're playing in slowmotion.

HORRIBLE. :(

God I love MotionX Poker. I bought the new one after playing the first game for over 12 hours and even though it's pretty much the same game with some interface polish and a new theme, I can't stop playing it.

I just played the first level.
It's actually pretty damn rad! How is the worst app you've ever purchased.
Sure, the game chugs like mad when you transition to a different viewpoint but its super playable and actually pretty fun. I haven't played a Katamari game since the first one, but this is EXACTLY what I remember. It's actually pretty damn impressive.

Just bought Field Runners, awesome tower defense game. Seems more maps and a new tower is coming soon.

Bought I Love Katamari last night, despite the reviews here. Yes it has its problems (framerate, controls sometimes bug out), but it was definitely worth it.

Did anyone know of this game beforehand? Or did Namco pull a Square-Enix (Song Summoner)?
 
Wow, Soul Trapper is a bucket of laughs. I'm on chapter 10, and it's been really enjoyable so far. Any word on future episodes, or the other Real Time Audio Adventures? L.A. Knight sounds particularly interesting.
 
I purchased I Love Katamari for iPhone yesterday as well despite reviews here. Yes the game definitely has some frame rate issues (mainly when your Katamari hits a 'milestone size' or whatever it's called). But despite that I'm sure Namco Bandai will get that fixed up and with that issue aside it's actually a really really fun game.
 
Are there any worthwhile reasons to jailbreak an ipod touch? Or what would be some reasons to do so? Can you still install the apple updates if it's jailbroken?

Is there any sort of hackery or somethign?
Please! This is ridiculous! It's such a great game, but I can't listen to a podcast while playing it.. :lol
 
Crazy Penguin Catapult (Lite version) and Tiki Towers are my newest favorite games. Crazy Penguin Catapult is a game where you launch penguins at polar bears. Sounds simple, but it's very fun. Tiki Towers is a bridge builder game like World of Goo or Elefunk. The presentation and physics are great. Both are highly recommended.

If you're using the iPhone headphones, just start playing whatever you want to listen to and start the game. Once the game loads and the sound drops out, just press the clicker on the headphone cord (like you're pausing) and whatever you were listening to should start playing again. It will get rid of all the sound from the game though, fyi.

EDIT: I took advantage of the sale and bought Dropship. Holy Crap! What an awesome game. Like Gravitar and Solar Jetman meets Geometry Wars.
 
After reading the 'ringtone apps' post by Craig Hockenberry (of Twitteriffic) I decided to see if he had a valid complaint and check out his app, Frenzic.

HOLY SHIT, I am definitely addicted to this game.. it's like digital crack. In the couple of days I've owned it I've put in more time with in than all the other app store games I own combined. I don't think I've been this addicted to a puzzle game since Tetris.

I definitely recommend this one, and if anyone has it or gets it and wants to add me to their friend list my screen name is nckmrtn.
 
I just got Katamari. Here are my impressions:

i Love Katamari - Game - 8.5/10 - It's very similar to the original Katamari Damacy at about 70% of the console's speed. A playable framerate (anywhere from 20-30 normally) with horrendous slowdown when the Katamari "evolves" to the next size. The first game's sound effects and music are present in this game. The controls work very well. You tilt to roll around, and use the touch screen for more precise movements. It feels like a slower version of Monkey Ball with more room for error. Overall, it's a great game and a fantastic port of the Katamari experience. Definitely worth a purchase for fans of the series.
 
An update for Christmas With Weezer just came out, it's super responsive now. I doubled my score on Greatest Man That Ever Lived, putting me third on the leaderboards. BEST GAME EVA.

I love the Tap Tap games, I've purchased all of them, but they BLOW ASS on Extreme because they miss all my screen touches! :(

I'm not terribly far in it yet, and my iPhone is WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM and I'm really comfortable right here, but I'd say it's about half the size of a normal Katamari game. Maybe even a bit more, actually. It seems deep, and it really does Katamari well.

Here's something I have to add, though:
If you are a person who straight-up could NOT grasp the Monkey Ball controls, you probably won't like this game. It's very similar, just a bit slower. And the game moves at about 70% the speed of the original Katamari game.
 
Pajatzo is SUPER AWESOME and is $1.99 Seriously, check it out. I had never heard of the game before this, and now I'm in love. You flick coins at little floating hoops to in order to get more coins. It's one of my favorite games and one of the most addicting apps on the App Store yet. Buy it or I'll cut your balls off.

Tiki Towers is SUPER AWESOME and is $.99 World of Goo/Elephunk clone right here, and it's awesome. Bridge builder game fans unite. Buy this app now. NOW!

newtonica2 is SUPER AWESOME and is $.99 So much fun in a great little stylized package. You're in space, trying to get the duck from point A to point B. Sounds boring, but it's such a great puzzle game. Buy it and love it.

HydroTilt is new and SUPER AWESOME and is $2.99 Very similar to the Archer Maclean's Mercury games. You control a blob of water and can change into various forms like ice and steam to further uniquerize (yes, I made that up) the gameplay. The controls are spot-on (no Monkey Ball bullshit here!) Buy it and say, "BABY, WHURR YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!"

Bounce Trap is $.99 This is a mix of Peggle and awesomeness. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's very similar to Peggle. Just check out the screens. Then buy it.

Frenzic is $1.99 As stated before.. great game that is freaking addicting as hell.

Theseus is $1.99 Great little cat and mouse puzzle game.

Quick Draw is $1.99 iSketch. Fun when you can find a game. That shouldn't be much of a problem if enough people bite with the price drop.

Scoops is $1.99 It's fun. You have an ice cream cone, and you collect scoops that are falling from the sky. It's fun. And you have ice cream. Fun.

Just putting a little word for these apps out there, since they're some of the best and most fun so far. I've also been playing a LOT of Tap Tap Dance, Christmas with Weezer, and Tap Tap Revenge still.
