Rolando 2 is so much fun to play. I don't know why, but it just feels so much better than the first for some reason. Probably a "newness" placebo effect.

Either way, it's fun as hell.

Edit: After just booting up KOTOR for the first time ever in my life (and really liking it so far), I'd say that this kind of RPG would be really cool on the iPhone. Totally doable on the 3GS I would have to assume.

Better level design, I think.

ANY kind of RPG would work well. We just need more RPGs!

I had to download it from PC iTunes to get the deal.

Comes up as 4.99 in itunes also.

I'm on a computer and it's definitely showing up in itunes as 99 cents on the buy page although sometimes it does take awhile to migrate to the app store on the actual idevice.

It shows up as .99 when I search but on the product page it shows it for 4.99, same as I said earlier tonight. :/

So I played an iPod Touch for the first time this week, and...

If they could get a directional pad and at least two normal-sized buttons (like the A Button and B Button on the SNES controller), there'd be no fucking reason for DS and PSP to even exist, anymore. This would be the best portable, bar none. It's fucking incredible, and the touch screen is lightyears better than that of the DS.

No fear, the GameBone is here! (or will be)

I'm going to go ahead and assume Columns Deluxe on iPhone is a port of a really old mobile version? It's pretty damn ugly.

What the hell are Sega doing nowdays? I mean they hit it big with Monkey Ball which was made for the system, and since then what, Sonic and Golden Axe (is this Arcade or Genesis) ports?

It's baffling to see so many classic companies seemingly drop the ball in terms of some games. Instead of Stoneloops why isn't Luxor there? Instead of Warpack grunts why isn't the actual Cannon Fodder available? It's baffling.

Haha, wow. Bionic Surfer is so stupid, but weirdly fun. There's a kind of Weapon of Choise-esque vibe going on here. I think I'll continue playing. :)

Edit: an hour of gameplay later - Yep, I love this game. Best purchase in awhile, I'd say. This game is crazy! :lol

So how's this game? It got 4/4 in Slide to Play. Sounds good.

It's really fun. It plays like the catapult minigame in New Super Mario Bros only with better art and MAXIMUM BAKE~!

it's a lot of fun, has great presentation but gets kinda hard pretty fast. worth the money though, especially on sale

Columns is free this weekend too... I hope they port the other sonic games too.

Browsing through the Touch Arcade "upcoming games forum" there is some really interesting stuff coming in the near future. Impressive games on the horizon.

Totally cool.
I'm loving the vibe, the music, the art... and the gameplay is just damn addictive.
For 99cents it's a steal, go for it!

more love for it, it's great. i was hesitant to buy it, but finally broke down instead of buying a dblechzbrger, it's totally a bargain at $1.

Has anyone checked put Light Bike with the new online update? It's really odd. While the game matches players you play one player rounds and it matches forever and crashes a lot. I don't like it.

:lol Hope you don't take it personally then. :D I'm starting to like it more now. The first jump was really annoying but now I got it where he doesn't keep running and stays put. Two finger pause is still weird since i have each had command a side.

None taken :D
Some people had problems with the controls and the double tap for the pause, the trick is to use just one finger, and keep it under the character, as you can see in the video on my blog:

Ah, after watching that video it makes it a lot easier. I don't feel as bad too now that my top score is 180 and yours is only 350. :D

Edit: Wooo, top score is 400 now that I know how to control. Dunno how much effort it would be but maybe you should add a couple screens showing to use one finger underneath the character. It's so much better when you know to control like in the video.

Edit2: Woooo 1530! This game is awesome now.

Nice :D
If you take a look at Geocade, someone in Mexico made 183840 points. O_o

Yeah, I should add a screen on the appstore, or directly ingame, the text tutorial maybe it's not clear enough
