ColinZeal said:Uhhh, Chinatown Wars and FF1 and FF2 aside, has anyone played "PathPix" (http://itunes.apple.com/se/app/pathpix/id314306149?mt=8)?
Maybe it´s been mentioned way back in the thread but this game got me hooked like heroin.
It´s sort of a puzzle crossword game with numbers instead of words and letters. It´s really really awesome and a long experience. The normal version has 169 levels and the first 25 hs taken me like 2 or so hours to complete. And the later levels just get bigger and take longer time to complete... Awesome experience!
There is a Pro version (http://itunes.apple.com/se/app/pathpix-pro/id338509060?mt=8) as well for the ones that´ve mastered the normal version...
Lite here:

FF1 & 2 are ports of the PSP versions, the interface looks good too. I doubt that we'd ever get FF4-6 though considering the fact that the ATB system requires fast accurate controls but these two games should work perfectly fine.
Oh yeah and Dragon Quest ports would be rad, the controls would work perfectly fine on the iphone!![]()

I got the Pro for 3 bucks and have wasted a good 7 hours on it so far. Really good way to recalibrate my brain after long stints of other types of problem solving.ColinZeal said:Uhhh, Chinatown Wars and FF1 and FF2 aside, has anyone played "PathPix" (http://itunes.apple.com/se/app/pathpix/id314306149?mt=8)?

Pathpix and Pathpix Pro are amazing - you can just leave your musics on for hours while to do levelsColinZeal said:Uhhh, Chinatown Wars and FF1 and FF2 aside, has anyone played "PathPix" (http://itunes.apple.com/se/app/pathpix/id314306149?mt=8)?

Now that forum doesn't get a lot of love, so I'm linking it here as well:
http://forum.148apps.com/showthread.php?t=2559
As the post says, we're just about finished on our next version (the OpenFeint highscores and achievements version), so I'm handing out codes to anybody that wants to get some practice in beforehand. Or just for the free game.
You can also get a code by following @Bombardiers and tweeting the following on twitter, if that's your thing:
Get your @Bombardiers Guild promo codes over on @148apps! http://bit.ly/8sLO1v
Oh, and in response to whatevermort (page 297 of this thread), I'm currently tweaking the game to make it a fair bit easier: change the levels slightly, make the AI slower, improve the hints. The final levels, however, will remain near (but not quite) impossible.

Just letting you know, Tumbledrop Free (lite version) is available now. If you haven't tried Tumbledrop, please give it a go, and be sure to leave a reviewIf you have tumbledrop already and like it, it would be nice if you could leave a score or comment on the free version too. I'd really love to be able to get this into the top 100 games, or even into the top 50 puzzle games. I hope the free version helps boost sales a bit.
Does anyone have any levels they really like or hate in Tumbledrop? I'm working on the next level set, so it would be helpful to have some feedback.
Banzaiaap said:What I like:
- Moving platforms that can tilt back and forth
- Balloons!
What I'm not that into:
- Platforms that aren't completely flat, that have bumps in them etc..
- The rounded yellow dudes, they can completely throw you off. :lol
Also, one thing I'd really like to see is Openfeint support!
I already have Tumbledrop and think it's awesome, but thanks to this screen shot I have discovered and am seriously considering buying Evacuation and Skull Pogo, as I love the art style of both and they sound fun as hell.dock said:
Last I remember hearing about Edge is that it's still available in the App Store, but not in the UK or US.WordAssassin said:I already have Tumbledrop and think it's awesome, but thanks to this screen shot I have discovered and am seriously considering buying Evacuation and Skull Pogo, as I love the art style of both and they sound fun as hell.
However I can't find Edge in the App Store. Did it get removed because of the name again?
That's right, your account knows you brought it so if you try to buy it again it should tell you that you already own it, I have yet to do this for DLC but told it works fine, but I have redownloaded app's from itunes multiple times as I brought my new pc and reinstalled windows to it multiple times.DodgerSan said:Question about in-app purchases (mainly concerning Rock Band).
So I buy RB, and can buy extra songs from the music store. Is it the case that if I delete RB, and reinstall it later, my itunes account will 'remember' the song purchases and I can redownload them for free?
If not how does it work?
I haven't tried evacuation but I can tell you that skull pogo is really awesome and the music is gooood. So good I had to find and download it. I'll be downloading tumbledrop free and rating it. I will buy the full one in the future cause I'm more then broke right now.WordAssassin said:I already have Tumbledrop and think it's awesome, but thanks to this screen shot I have discovered and am seriously considering buying Evacuation and Skull Pogo, as I love the art style of both and they sound fun as hell.

mrkgoo said:I'm not big into achievements. Openfeint nearly always throws off the aesthetics and design of most games, and the logo on the icon is annoying.
Someone a few posts up asked about Tumbledrop getting Open Feint support. And yeah I'm in the crowd for OF support cause its pretty much xbox live for the iphone/touch. They put the logo in their app picture to attract people I assume, I mean I look for it myself but its not a selling point at all because there are plenty of crap games that have it. Its not required but I would like all my games to have it.Dreamwriter said:Were you responding to something? I can't find any discussions on OpenFeint or anything. Anyways, if OpenFeint throws off the aesthetics and design of a game, then that game's designers are at fault. OpenFeint doesn't require ANY special branding or logos. They recommend using their buttons and stuff, but don't require it. And OpenFeint does more than achievements, it also does online leaderboards, game challenges, chatting and stuff.
