The comparisons the ABC were making were amazingly absurd to the point you had to just roll your eyes. They made it a point to do a direct comparison in the opening moments of the program, then Doc Rivers continues on with "OMG ITS THE KOBE RULES." On one particular play Billups hadn't even come off of his defender yet Doc starts with his analysis by saying "See its the jordan rules. Billups was tracking Kobe the whole way." Nothing about what Billups did was unusual, he was being cognizant of the ball handler who was DRIVING; it's not unusual for a player to come off of their defender to either defend the drive or prepare for the rebound.
I noticed billups was triple teamed several times down the floor. It was a full court press with a lot of pressuring of the ball handler, but maybe we can call it the Billups Rules. Nah it wouldn't fit the agenda of ABC's promoters who are starving for a new NBA messiah. Sorry guys you gotta give Lebron a couple of years to mature!

OK, while the Laker haters will no doubt come out in full force, the Laker lovers need to wake the hell up.
The Lakers have been outplayed for 3 games. Sure you can say the Lakers didn't do this, the Lakers didn't do that, they're being lazy, whatever. But the Pistons have played solid, and I mean solid defense completely shutting down the Lakers for 2 1/2 games. Just be fortunate LA was lucky to have won Game 2 otherwise we would be talking about sweeps, but the other way.
And hey, think of it this way: if LA does win the Finals, just think of the comeback that much sweeter.
