Getting the Zombie genocide achievement with style!
I would have really preferred a more glamorous way to get it, but I figured getting it while watching a teammate get choked to death was just as good! And I can probably definitively say that it was way better than when Red Scarlet got it while making lewd poses on top of a safehouse toilet! :]

person's health is 100 + 300 "down" points. assume you take all of those that's 400. now he's probably getting bonus assist points for hurting him or something. plus there's a LOT of zombies there, not all of them will be doing damage even if they are hitting him.CrookedRain said:

Sniping hunters or smokers off of people, especially when they are seperated from the group. They run out of ammo the slowest. You can take out an entire hallway full of zombies with half of a clip with ease since the bullets go straight through them. It's always a one shot kill on zombies too, so if you hit them once you know they are dead regardless of their squirming. Against tanks you can hang back further away from the group and snipe the hell out of the bastard. I find that I often do just as much damage to tanks as people with auto-shotties. I rarely zoom in. The only time it is useful is when you want to shoot far off enemies while moving, otherwise it is better to just quickly crouch and fire off a couple shots.Gryphter said:

With a sniper rifle you can rescue a distant teammate while shooting straight through a horde of zombies.1-D_FTW said:

hmm, maybe that's why I've been getting killed fighting the Tanks during the last stand sections; I usually have to get closer since I'm using a shotgun. My buds and I went through 3 of the campaigns on Advanced, I haven't survived a single one yet :*(

Oh, shit, you're on the 360? I'm not sure you can get enough precision to make the sniper rifle as useful as it can be, but I hope I'm wrong.

I was in another game as infected on hospital. Francis got into the safe room and closed the door, he went out to try to save Zoey. I was Boomer and I vomited on him. My zombies were beating him up and I even tried to attack him while a hunter pounced him. None of us got the achievement Lamb 2 Slaughter. Did we just got unlucky and it bugged out on us or is there a certain way that we have to do it?
I don't know why some people are saying the teamswap is not an issue. It's ruining games, not balancing squat. At least 80% of the games I've played, someone is being swapped around. It sucks when you get 4 friends and then one guy gets swapped to the other team.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good places to rent a dedicated L4D server from? Been looking at a few options (Leetservers, Velocity) but nothing's really standing out. Personal experiences are greatly welcomed.
