Anyone with an iPad owes it to themselves to download DM-1 Drum Machine Its free right now and is fucking rad. Full 606, 808, 909 sound banks and then over a dozen more classic kits. So fun. AKAI also just released a full MPC app. Merry holidays!

i was reading about the iMPC the other day. Sounds cool. MPC Fly should be really cool too.

Some absolute classics on there. Thanks for that.

Straight banging tek. just the way i like it.

I hope you are doing a mix for the exchange. Would love to hear more.

Thanks for taking the time to check it, thought you might like some of that stuff.

I hope I can make a mix before the end of the year, we'll see.

Look what I found randomly
Todd Terje in Melbourne
Nothing mentioned about fucking hipsters. And a pretty poor review of his set, too. Hell, I could knock up a better one just from the tracks that my phone picked up on Shazam.

And the review also made another horrible mistake... it wasn't Terje who finished up with Ragysh, it was the guy following who OPENED with it. How/why the fuck would you open with a track FROM THE GUY WHO JUST PLAYED.

Really, really bad form.

Also, the Steeler's Wheel track is fucking bad.

RA's tracks of the year

their #2 was my personal #1, and I kinda figured New 4 U would be #1 for some reason... lots of personal favorites of the year on this list - "Mercy", "So Will Be Now", "It's You" (Ron Basejam mix), "Fur De Liebe", and "Time".

Number one song is sounding good though.

Oh wow I have 8/10 of those songs haha. Time is a massive song, glad its getting recognition.

Edit: list is pretty good to be fair, alot of stuff I rate atleast.

Edit: reading the comments Inspector norse is on some kind of godly pedestal.

That RA list is putting me on to some new dudes. Mainly Huxley and Pachanga Boys.
The RA list is putting you onto Pachanga Boys? I've been posting about them for a few months now, after someone in this thread put me onto them.

RA > GAF :(

Find it odd that I honestly have heard OF (let alone listened two) maybe two or three tracks in that list. More surprised to see that Duke Dumont's "The Giver" didn't rate a mention, either. Probably my favourite track of the year... if not, in the top 10.

PS. That remix of Trommelmaschine was *killer*. Didn't hear much of the original though, just a shitload of aceeeeeed.

Nice!

It's a weird take on it, mostly because it's got Lee Perry mumbling all over it. The Orb just aren't what they once were, which shows if a 22 year old tune is still being played out.

I lost it when it cut in. Havent heard that tune in ages. Velvet proved once again that he is untouchable. Dude knows whats up.
