If I had to put it down to one song... I'd have to say Duke Dumont's The Giver. Lemme at it tomorrow morning and I'll put down a few more, but that was definitely a standout track for me this year.

I already posted this in the trance thread but this is probably the more appropriate place: I've been tasked with creating a playlist for the New Year's Eve party some friends will be having at their studio and I need to come up with 1-3 hours of accessible, dance-able electronic music. Does anyone want to offer some recommendations? I have nowhere near enough stuff downloaded to reach 3 hours... I do plan to cull what's been posted in the last few pages of this thread but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Dusty Kid / Crookers were awesome in the Fidget days, so weird how it all just went off the radar while the world was drowned in Dubstep :/

This deserves more appreciation, Adam Sky (Adamski) & Crossover's rework of Wire's I Am The Fly. Amazing sound and doesn't age. Similar to his 12" remix of Miss Kittin's Stock Exchange, which Madonna seemed to have sampled for Hollywood. Tsk!

Inigo tears shit up. In a similar vein to this and the PAS album you can check out Surgeons most recent album & fabric mix for some good techno.

You can try looking up some artists that fit in w/Token label.

If anyone is interested in Inigo Kennedy than I recommend stopping by here and checking out some of the free releases he put out on his label. I have a soft spot for track 3 on release number 4. It sounds like a lost Mark Pritchard track from his Reload heydays.

Also nice to see some Luke Slater love. That Planetary Assault Systems album that Ill Saint linked is a good one. Peacefrog had a pretty damn good 90s catalog.

Check out this great Dan Curtin remix of Slater's Clementine alias.

Also Mr. Slater needs to break out that 7th Plain moniker again. The Four Cornered Room is still my favorite from him. Hard to pick a favorite track from it, but this is a good one to check out.

I stumbled upon the album Unpatterns from Simian Mobile Disco last week, which I hadn't heard yet.. Such an amazing album. I think it's in my top 3 favorite albums of '12.

Edit: I forgot to mention 'Fin' from John Talabot as well, great album.
