Hi, is there any rule that could prevent me from doing an OT for a very old game? (It's an RTS called Populous: The Beginning, from 1998).
 
Uncharted is the easy choice. Ever since U2, it feels like they've tried to one-up themselves with bombast and it just feels exhausting. That's actually one of the main reasons I was disappointed in TLOU2, as it tried to ratchet up the bombast from the original which was a nice, grounded break from Naughty Dog's typical flare. Their puzzle mechanics were never good and the same could be said for the brain dead platforming and traversal. How many times can a handhold or platform collapse below me and still be exiting? While the combat has improved game over game, like most of the core mechanics, it's also-ran and done better by contemporary alternatives.

I think a discussion on tencent games buying up all game companies around the world as a bad thing for future creativity and diversity. Seems strange nobody brought up this chinese trojan horse yet.

This game was supposed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X; but it got pushed to 2021. The official release date should be revealed soon and it should release at the latest by May/June. It is 100% coming out this year and I will add the release date to this post when it is announced🤘💯

Was wondering if we could get a dedicated thread to general gaming questions about anything gaming related that doesn't really need is own thread. Otherwise sometimes a question thread about a particular question could get buried fast if there's a lot of activity going on. For example I want to ask a specific question about fallout 4 modding on console but don't see the point in making a thread about it - google hasn't been much help either.

Well, I think that there's no harm in trying and seeing how that goes. The only issue would be whether and how to make sure that questions don't get buried.
