Well, the Apple Watch segment was as horrible as I feared. Surprised nobody brought up that you have to charge your watch as well.
Why not?

Don't worry CJ, I'm with you. You don't need a reason, you're welcome to try and t and Brit a chance. After all, no-one saw the "need" get a music player, or a smart phone, he'll even a mobile phone at all before that. You mean it went horribly right. It went exactly as I was expecting and how previous "CJ's buying a new Apple thing" bits have gone. I threw it on the outline and waited for someone to mention it. Couldn't have gone any better.
I can't believe they managed to have a apple watch segment and the guy who is buying the apple watch is the only one who didn't seem like an idiot.
More importantly, mik, have you had Epic's Big Bad Baptist? I think that is my #1.
"If I'm spending that much on a watch I'd rather just buy a nice watch" is being an idiot?
Good to know.
I've tried most of Epic's beers and they've all been at least pretty good. It's worth mentioning, though, that I don't really love porters and stouts and such. I lean to IPAs and tripels for the most part. I need something as sour and bitter as I am.
It was more the "letting the guy who spends hundreds on kids toys shit on the guy buying some other dumb thing" go for so long before finally, and hilariously, calling him out.
If the plan was to let him keep going with his fisher price shovel then well done.
I'm definitely getting a smart watch eventually. It's not there yet (for me anyway), but I really like the idea of having notifications instantly even if my phone is in my bag or in a different room in the house. I think it's going to be a huge hit.
That said, some people don't even check their e-mails at all so I can see it being completely useless to them.
The worst part is that my LEGO sets are pretty much designed around obsolescence. Every year I have to toss each set out and replace it with another, mostly-identical-but-with-a-few-added-features set.
That, and I can't use my LEGO sets unless I'm also carrying around my phone.
I will give the geniuses running Apple this: They found a way to make people excited about spending hundreds of dollars for the privilege of not having to use the other device that they paid hundreds of dollars for six months prior.
I'm torn. I like the Apple Watch AND Lego. Whose side do I pick? TELL ME

Hey, stewy, I'm about to play the Sega CD from someone who has a supposed near complete collection. I need guidance:

I recently organised all my son's loose bricks into 12 boxes with 5 compartments each. Lots of work, but now at least I know for sure that I can't make that watch. Or at the very least not in those colors.
I also like sites like rebrickable, which allow you to see if you can build other sets. You rarely can, but at least you know which parts you mis and could buy them, or improvise. Also, people can post custom designs, and those are often using the same bricks from one set (aka alternate builds).
Cool stuff! Much cooler than the iWatch, for sure.I'd probably sooner get a wrist-band that can hold my iPhone, or a dedicated sports device. It needs to be 150 or less before it becomes a serious contender.

The Bloodborne episode next week should be fun. Greg, will you be streaming it this week at all?
Is anyone else playing it? Hopefully someone will get it just because there's not much else out right now.
Alternately it'd be cool to have Pete Dodd on to talk about it.
As will be revealed in episode 437, we will all be playing it. And I do not think any of us have previous experience with the Souls series of any great note.

2. Also like Rogue Legacy it's possible you'll end up in an area that's too hard for your character. Instead of getting frustrated just go somewhere else.
How strange they'll be playing Bloodborne. Doesn't come off as a game for old people.

What level were you guys when you beat Rogue Legacy? I really like the game, except I'm not appreciating the grind. Beating the first and second bosses was really fun, but I'm not feeling fighting another round of palette swapped enemies to get strong enough to fight the third boss.
I'm level 100, which seems pretty high, maybe I just suck at the game.
so not the only one who confuses Dying Light and Until Dawn.
Until Dawn! Yes! That's the one! Yeah those two I cannot get straight. And I never remember the title "Until Dawn."
